Announcing the Soho House Awards 2022
A celebration of established and emerging talent in the creative industries will take place on 1 September with a special event and a new Soho House print magazine

Today, Soho House launches the Soho House Awards to champion emerging talent in the creative industries.
For 27 years, Soho House has been a home away from home for the creative industries, bringing established and emerging talent together around the world. And today, we’re launching the Soho House Awards to celebrate those people.
In partnership with Sky, these are the first cross-industry awards to give equal prominence, accolade and praise to up-and-coming talent, as well as those who are already household names.
With 10 categories – from music and art to acting and design, creator and changemaker – there will be two award winners per category, honouring one established name and one breakthrough star, both selected for their defining accomplishments and success in the past 12 months.
Winners will be chosen by a committee of Soho House experts across film, art, music, content and creative, with one specific award – the Breakthrough Entrepreneur Award – selected from a shortlist, which includes nominees submitted by participants of Soho Mentorship and Soho Chance. Both initiatives are part of House Foundations, Soho House’s ESG programme, which has a focus on providing opportunities to access the creative industries for people from lower-socioeconomic or underrepresented backgrounds.
Soho Mentorship pairs members with young creatives to grow their connections, confidence, and experience. Soho Chance is for emerging entrepreneurs to launch a project using the resource and infrastructure of Soho House. Previous Soho Chance participants include Ranura Edirisinghe, who is designing a textile collection for Soho Home.
The inaugural Soho House Awards will take place on Thursday 1 September 2022 at a ceremony at 180 House in London, where all winners will be announced and receive their award, alongside some special musical performances. The ceremony will also be broadcast across Soho House’s digital platforms, including Instagram and TikTok.
A new Soho House biannual print magazine will launch on the same date with exclusive photography and interviews of all winners, available to all 130,000 members and in every House globally.
