Soho House São Paulo

The permanent House art collection is comprised of more than 60 artists born, based or trained in Brazil, with a high proportion residing in São Paulo
Highlights of the collections include works by Alexandre Da Cunha, Antonio Tarsis, Castiel Vitorino Brasileiro, Jaime Lauriano, Larissa de Souza, Leda Catunda, Paulo Nimer Pjota, Marina Perez Simão, Nazareth Pacheco, and Yuli Yamagata. Shining a light on both emerging talents and museum-level artists alike, this cross section of the vibrant Brazilian contemporary art scene explores themes such as the experimentation with found materials (Mano Penalva, Gabriella Garcia, Marepe); the interest in figurative painting from a new generation (Paula Siebra, Samara Paiva, Fefa Lins); the power of storytelling photography (Jonathas de Andrade, Uýra, Mauro Restiffe), and the ongoing interest with lines of abstraction (Caetano de Almeida, Luísa Matsushita, Rodrigo Cass).
The House also features a surrealist site-specific mural in the main bar, ‘Pernas, pra que te quero!’, created by Marcelo Cipis; a games-themed room with works by Gabriel Pessoto, Nazareno and André Azevedo; and specially commissioned prints by Fernanda Galvão and Nino Cais in the bedrooms.
This collection was curated by Sara Terzi, Soho House’s Senior Art Collection Manager.
