Soho House 76 Dean Street

Soho House 76 Dean Street Art Page

The historic 18th-century townhouse is home to a collection that celebrates the subversive power of British contemporary art, alongside a diverse (and colourful) selection of international names

The art collection at 76 Dean Street was originally curated by Francesca Gavin in 2015 and featured monochromatic works by artists working in London installed salon style. Key pieces include “Health and Safety is Killing Bondage” by Harland Miller and works by Yinka Shonibare, Tracey Emin, Glenn Ligon and Christian Jankowski.

In 2022 we injected colour and refreshed the line up to reflect a new generation of talent.  The newly curated works include those by Nick Jensen, Lindsey Mendick, Donna Huanca, Luisa Mè, Des Hughes and Jane Hayes Greenwood in the blue dining room and Megan Rooney, Zayn Qahtani, Jakob Rowlinson in the pink dining room adjacent.

Most recently, in late 2024 and 2025 we have added new artworks to the reception area, cinema and house kitchen. Artists include Daisy Parris, Morag Caister, David Shrigley and Lubiana Himid. There were two special commissions as part of this project. Firstly, artist Cathy Tabbakh painted the walls of the courtyard cafe to create an 'orangerie' which sits alongside citrus themed artworks in the space. Emma Fineman also transformed the third floor event space into a wrap-around painted room. Originally inspired by its colourful 1920's inspired furnishing, Emma has created a 21st century nod to Charleston House in Sussex, home of the Bloomsbury group.
