All the ways we’re celebrating International Women’s Day
We’ll be recognising the continued influence and activism of women across the globe with art takeovers, panels and dinners prepared by top chefs

While we’re firmly of the opinion that the global contributions of women should be recognised all year round, International Women’s Day on Saturday 8 March offers a dedicated moment to observe the continued need for gender equality, while also celebrating past and present achievements of women across the world.
Throughout our Houses, we’ll be doing just this, with a line-up of events that includes art takeovers, educational workshops, One Night Only dinners, and all-women musical performances.
Many of our events throughout the clubs will be powered by Porsche. Together, Soho House and Porsche support and recognise creative changemakers who have the courage to dream. Ferry Porsche, the car brand’s founder, was a dreamer – and his passion and vision changed the automotive world forever.
Ludlow House
Art takeover, powered by Porsche
Saturday 8 March
In New York City, Soho House Chief Art Director Kate Bryan has shaped a programme of art events at Ludlow House, powered by Porsche. She will kick off the art takeover with a panel talk featuring Roberta Smith and Kyla McMillan, and pose the question: Will women artists catch-up in our lifetime? The day will also include creative workshops, tarot readings and more, leading up to a headline talk with Laurie Simmons and a One Night Only dinner hosted by chef Hillary Sterling. To close the day, there will be a live music performance by St. Vincent.

White City House
International Women’s Day takeover, powered by Porsche
Saturday 8 March
For the third year, White City House will host an International Women’s Day takeover, powered by Porsche. This year’s theme – ‘Accelerate Action’ – will recognise the achievements and contributions of women leaders across different industries including film, TV, music and beauty, with a programme that includes talks and networking opportunities. We’ll also host masterclasses and workshops in life drawing, collaging and flower bouquet making, gua sha, and photography.
In the evening, members can enjoy a supper club curated by Sally Abé, Mandy Yin, Candice Brown and Judy Joo, with complimentary cocktail pairings chosen by Carmen O’Neal. The dinner will be followed by a live music performance and resident DJ sets on the rooftop, while the screening rooms will showcase women-directed movies throughout the day.

Soho House Barcelona
Soho Visionaries, powered by Porsche
Thursday 6 to Saturday 8 March
Soho House Barcelona will host a programme of events, recognising and supporting visionaries across the intersection of art, activism, architecture, and self-improvement. The series, powered by Porsche, includes a talk by trailblazing artist Sophie Tea, an immersive dinner curated by PPOONNTT – complete with live art performance by Liang-Jung Chen – and an afterparty with music by Maria Hein and a DJ set by Meritxell de Soto. The week closes with a day of wellness and art-inspired events curated by Maria Baños, including special performances, creative workshops, and conversations.

Soho House Rome
Soho Visionaries, powered by Porsche
Monday 3 to Thursday 6 March
At our House in Rome, we’ll be celebrating women driving change through creativity and empowerment. Powered by Porsche, the Soho Visionaries programme will feature conversations with artist Elena Salmistraro on the challenges of innovation and Sony Music director, Sara Potente, on the future of the music industry. Designer Jezabelle Cormio will also give a talk, followed by a supper club hosted by Margherita Buy. The series will close with a party complete with sets from women resident DJs.

Workshop: girls just wanna have funds
Tuesday 4 March
Helping to arm women with the confidence to discuss money openly and confidently, this special International Women’s Day workshop will focus on how to negotiate your salary. On average, men save 42% more than women in Sweden today across the board. Learn how to change that in this hands-on workshop hosted by financial experts.

Saturday 8 March
Our signature party series – high energy, fun and accessible for all – celebrates our favourite DJs and local collectives for a late-night House takeover. For International Women’s Day, the Copenhagen team will curate a line-up of all women local DJs. Expect a range of music, from Afro house to hip-hop and R&B, featuring Etti, Nataša, Nokiaze, and Ingrid Aleixo.
