House Nights: events and highlights from around the world

From St Patrick’s Day celebrations in London to Chicago Art Week parties and events, here are all the latest happenings in and around our global clubs

Spring is in bloom and the temperature isn’t the only thing hotting up around our global Houses – our events programmes are busier than ever. In London, members celebrated Kurdish new year and St Patrick’s Day, played chess with GZA, and sang along with The George Michael Singers. In the US, Chicago Art Week took centre stage in the Midwest, while our New York and LA Houses saw House Sessions from Robin Thicke, Rick Springfield, and Vincint.
In Barcelona, members celebrated the opening of Soho House Tokyo with a night dedicated to all things Japanese, while 2manydjs headed to the White Isle for a special Club Sounds at Soho Farmhouse Ibiza. Chicago Art Week kick-off, Hebru Brantley x The Old G

We welcomed in this year’s edition of the annual city-wide art fest with a kick-off party that brought artist Hebru Brantley and Black-owned, local gin business The Old G together for a night of art, music, and cocktails, soundtracked by DJ Jay iLLA.
One Night Only: Nina Compton, in partnership with evian
Soho House Chicago
The following night saw chef Nina Compton, of New Orleans restaurant Compère Lapin, take over the Allis Mezzanine for a one-off dinner that invited Soho House Chicago members and guests to sample her signature blend of Caribbean, French, and Italian flavours. Dishes included Buttermilk Biscuits, Hushpuppies, Hamachi Tartare, Whole Branzino Escovitch, and Coconut Flan – with evian cocktail pairings for each course.

The celebrations continued across the week, with events including a Soho Rising set featuring London singer, Amma – younger sister of breakout star Raye – that showcased her soulful vocal style and raw storytelling. The following evening invited guests and members gathered at the House to celebrate the launch of EXPO Art Week magazine, in partnership with EXPO CHICAGO and Frieze, followed by a House Party that kept things moving long into the night. Then, we rounded things off on Sunday afternoon with a special In Conversation with photojournalist Howard D Simmons, whose images for such legendary publications as Ebony magazine and the Chicago Sun-Times captured some of the most pivotal moments in Chicago’s – and America’s – social history.

The spirit of the Emerald Isle prevailed at Soho Mews House on St Patrick’s Day, as members gathered for a lively showcase of all things Irish – from traditional dancers to a special comedy set by up-and-coming talent Ruairi McInerney. That included the menu, of course, with dishes including the likes of Guinness & Treacle-Cured Salmon, Fallow Deer Tartare, Carlingford oysters, and Irish Apple Cake with whisky custard.
Club Sounds: 2manydjs, in partnership with Grey Goose
Soho Farmhouse Ibiza
Belgian DJ duo, brothers David and Stephen Dewaele, brought one of their genre-defying sets to Soho Farmhouse Ibiza for this edition of Club Sounds. Their seamless blend of rock, electronic, pop and underground classics had everyone on their feet, while they enjoyed Grey Goose cocktails.

Across his four-decade career, Ford has done much to shape California dining: after training at Chez Panisse, he earned praise for his first restaurant Chadwick, in Beverly Hills, became a driving force in LA’s gastropub scene with Ford’s Filling Station, and now his latest co-venture – supper club and restaurant Galerie on Sunset – has been making waves since it opened late last year.

Soho House 40 Greek Street
Meanwhile, Jonbers Blonde was bringing her A-game – and a touch of Irish sparkle – to a night of good times over at Soho House 40 Greek Street. The former Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK contestant tested the crowd’s knowledge on all things Irish in a quiz that covered history, pop culture, music, traditions, and more – with special prizes and a few surprises along the way.

DJ Shortee Blitz provided the perfect soundtrack for those playing to sit back, relax and focus on their next moves.

Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter and producer Robin Thicke – known for his blend of R&B, soul, and pop that’s led to chart-topping hits such as ‘Blurred Lines’ and ‘The Sweetest Love’ – headed to Soho House New York for a special House Sessions. His standout live set featured smooth vocals and groove-driven energy that had the crowd roaring for more.

Members and guests in LA were treated to some of the finest power pop of the 1980s, courtesy of Rick Springfield at Soho House West Hollywood. And yes, this special performance from the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter and musician – who has sold 25 million albums and scored 17 US Top 40 hits – included that stone-cold classic, ‘Jessie’s Girl’.
House Sessions: Vincint

A week later, our Hollywood club pulled it out of the musical hat again at a very different House Sessions, featuring Vincint. The solo star – whose performance on the first season of The Four set them on the road to success back in 2018 – delivered their signature powerhouse vocals for a night of pure, raw emotion.

VERSUS presents Changemakers In Sport: Ellie Kildunne
Shoreditch House
Our east London House was the venue for this panel talk, hosted in collaboration with cross-cultural media platform VERSUS featuring World Rugby Women’s 15s Player of the Year 2024, Ellie Kildunne. The series explores how sports of all kinds are bridging the gap into contemporary culture – including music, fashion, and the arts – all of which made for a lively conversation, led by VERSUS’s chief commercial officer, Johnny Kay.
Kurdish Newroz dinner by Nandine and The Taste Cadets
Shoreditch House
To mark Newroz – or Kurdish new year – which symbolises the arrival of spring, members headed to Shoreditch House as The Taste Cadets teamed up with south London Kurdish restaurant Nandine for a shared dining experience – served at a long communal table – and an uplifting celebration of Kurdish culture.

The opening of Soho House Tokyo was just around the corner when members gathered at Barcelona Pool House for a four-act dinner experience that combined Pen Yen’s Japanese food, performance, and spatial intervention. Curated by Food Rituals, the evening featured a live tea ceremony, a shared dinner, a performance – and a surprise for dessert.

Ludlow House
The Velvet Room was the venue for this small-group creator salon and workshop series at Ludlow House. Its focus is on helping members develop their personal content, creative voice, and digital presence through education, collaboration, and hands-on creation, all led by Georgia Makely-Schraeder, global digital director at Ford Models.

White City House
The late artist’s trio of vocalists brought his musical legacy to life at this special House Sessions in west London’s White City House. Fans old and new enjoyed a performance by Shirley Lewis, Jo Garland and Jay Henry, who toured the world alongside the star and played a defining role in shaping the sound of some of his most legendary records.

The British Afro-punk collective founded by multi-instrumentalist and producer Ahnansé showed members at DUMBO House why their globally rooted sound is being credited with redefining London’s live music scene. Blending jazz, Afrobeat, soul, and electronic energy, their performance was immersive, communal, and spontaneous, creating a memorable night of rhythm, emotion, and connection.
An evening with Karan Gokani
Shoreditch House
With Sri Lankan restaurant chain Hoppers’ newest site just opened nearby, Shoreditch House was the perfect place to enjoy an evening with Karan Gokani, its cofounder and creative director. Members enjoyed drinks and canapes while finding out more about Hoppers and why its newest opening – the fourth in London – is looking beyond Sri Lanka to explore the southern states of India in its kitchen, with Gokani and host Sukie Bokas.
