Brasserie Boheme has arrived at Ludlow House

Brasserie Boheme has arrived at Ludlow House

Inspired by the original Soho House restaurant, Cafe Boheme, we’re launching a French bistro in Manhattan – featuring a menu of classic Parisian dishes and wine – inside Ludlow House in the Lower East Side

Thursday 3 October By Yasemin Celepi

Since 1992, Soho House's first restaurant, Cafe Boheme, has been offering French food and drink in the heart of London’s Soho. More than just a dining destination, it’s been a go-to spot for both local and visiting creatives to meet and relax – and now we’re bringing a taste of the institution to Ludlow House in with the opening of Brasserie Boheme.

Inspired by the Soho House original, Cafe Boheme, the recently opened French bistro in New York is set on the ground floor of the Ludlow House and serves a menu of Parisian classics. This includes Chateaubriand, Dover Sole and Profiteroles, alongside an extensive wine list and unique cocktails, such as the Jardin Spritz and Riviera Spritz. There will also be brunch available on the weekends, and lighter bites such as cheese, charcuterie and oysters. No stranger to French restaurants in Manhattan, the menu was created by chef Richard Farnabe, who has over 30 years of experience in the industry. The relaxed, inviting atmosphere inside the Lower East Side restaurant isn’t just down to the menu, though. There will also be live jazz in the evenings for Soho House members to enjoy as they eat, drink and socialise.

Situated in the House’s garden on the first floor, Brasserie Boheme’s design is intended to be reminiscent of an old Parisian cafe, with a calm colour palette, sofas and banquettes in floral fabrics, and bent plywood leather dining chairs with antique metal finishes. In the nearby Parlor, members will find La Petite Boheme, a laid-back spot offering hero dishes from the main brasserie’s menu.

The restaurant is open to walk-ins and table bookings, which can be made via the Soho House app.
