Emerging from a great loss, quirky Mabel finds a life-affirming connection in attentive barista, Jack. She plucks up the courage to give him her number, but is the time right?
Written and directed by Kimberley Wintle, Mabel was a finalist in our first Soho House Script House competition in 2018 and stars Alexander Dreymon, alongside Wintle herself. The film, which is Wintle’s directorial debut, has won awards for Best Female Actor (Catalina Film Festival), Best First Time Director (Indie Short Fest) and Best Short Film (Hollywood Just4Shorts).
