House Cocktail: watch the winner of our 2012 House Shorts competition

A classic tale of guy meets girl, set in Little House Mayfair

House Cocktail depicts a brief encounter between a guy and a girl. Don’t expect any cheesy pick-up lines, this wordless short relies on pure imagination.

Directed by James Kibbey, the two-minute film was the winner of our archived House Shorts competition back in 2012, sponsored by BAFTA. Starring Guardians Of The Galaxy and Transformers’ Laura Haddock, as well as Shenoah Allen and Mark Chavez, it was made in Little House Mayfair, London.

Kibbey went on to write and direct the feature film, The Last Sparks Of Sundown, and is currently working on another comedy short, The Announcement, starring Hugo Chegwin and Felicity Montagu.
