When you walk through the doors of our Houses, we want you to feel at home, whether that’s sitting in the cosiest corner of 76 Dean Street or spotting the creative touches we’ve added just for you at Shoreditch House. If you’re new to our London Houses or someone who’s been coming for years, we have a few secret spaces that you may not know about – straight from the people in the know: our general managers and heads of membership.

The Snug at Little House Balham
One of our more intimate Houses in the capital, our first south London outpost is perfect for a relaxing dinner surrounded by 1940s decor. Inside, you’ll find The Snug (which hosts events and screenings), and inside there is Table 61, the best table in the House. Offering ultimate cosiness, it’s tucked away in the corner, so it’s private – yet it still has a view of the rest of the House.

The best table at Shoreditch House
As soon as you step into Pen Yen, our Japanese izakaya-style restaurant, you’ll see a table for four placed right next to the fireplace. In the brighter months, it soaks up plenty of sun, making it ideal for a summer lunch with friends. And in the colder months, it’s all about the fire pit. You’ll also find another sweet spot in the Library in the form of a little table for two on the stage. It’s right by the window, so it gets direct sunlight all afternoon long – the perfect set-up while you get through your emails.

The special room at Soho House 76 Dean Street 
The Blue Room at 76 Dean Street has been privately booked out for many special first dates. Based on the second floor, the intimate space can be used as a romantic setting for two, but it also has the potential to accommodate a slightly bigger group for drinks with friends or dinner with the family. In the afternoon, you’ll see the sun pouring through the townhouse’s windows, flooding the room with warmth.

The hidden gems at High Road House
On Chiswick High Road, you’ll find High Road House, which is filled with Art Deco furnishings and French influences. There are two hidden gems in the building; in fact, they’re so hidden that we often have to highlight them to new members. The first is located just outside the lift. While this may sound a little odd, it’s actually a quiet spot, especially as most people don’t use the lift to go up one floor. It’s a private place where you can read a book, have a glass of wine and relax with a window view.

The second is a hidden table by the long bar in the main area. It’s a favourite with the House’s regular members because it’s the best spot for date night – a secluded table for two, away from the noise, but with the atmosphere of the restaurant surrounding you.

The Doctor Who touch at White City House 
As White City House is located inside the old Television Centre, a lot of its features are based on famous or notable BBC programmes. For example, our lifts have been made to look like the inside of the Tardis from Doctor Who, one of the BBC’s most famous TV series.

Alongside this, the Snug on the ninth floor is a great spot to have a nice dinner or post-gym smoothie with views of west London featuring the Wembley Arch. The sun sets over the horizon and on a clear winter’s evening it’s a secluded place to unwind, whether that’s with a coffee or a Picante.
