Our creative community is also home to numerous artists and music industry professionals, so setting up our very own industry-standard recording studio felt like a natural next step. ‘As a business, we’re always looking at ways to improve the member experience, and the recording studio was a logical evolution for us to be an ally to the music industry,’ explains Soho House Global Head of Music, Dom Chung, who worked on the concept for the studio. ‘We wanted the recording studio to be a space where real creation can happen and where we can continue to develop meaningful relationships with artists and the industry.'

Located in the heart of Soho, inside Soho Works Dean Street, the new studio features everything you as artists need to get creative and produce your best work. Designed in the signature Soho House style, it comes complete with top-of-the-range equipment and software, including an array of high-end outboard instruments, such as the exceptional, hand-assembled Rhodes MK8 piano.
The studio offers a smooth, personalised experience, catering specifically to the needs of your session and your team. Whether you need a recording engineer, an established producer from our private books – or a round of cocktails brought to your crew at the end of the day – our studio is there to provide a seamless and effortless session from start to finish.
Our experienced Studio Manager, Sarah Haycox (aka Studio Sarah), is on hand to facilitate your session throughout. An esteemed name in the industry, over the course of her 30-year career Haycox has worked with the likes of Adele, One Direction, and Ed Sheeran, and is a go-to figure for artists, labels and producers. When it comes to setting up sessions, she is your first point of contact, with a black book of experts on request. A dedicated studio assistant is also on hand to assist you throughout the day.

Sessions are booked in 10-hour slots at any time of the day or night, with overtime available. The studio itself is located next door to Soho House 76 Dean Street and is just a stone’s throw from Kettner’s and Dean Street Townhouse (where we have bedrooms should you wish to stay overnight), with food and drink available throughout the day via a bespoke service from our central London Houses.
Whether that’s delivering a Cecconi’s pizza direct to you in the studio, or ensuring a table is available in the restaurant next door when you need it, the experience is designed to be as seamless as possible. We also offer the option for you to work from a ‘floating studio’ – which means you can record direct from your bedroom (or anywhere else).
