From the Brown Butter Lobster Roll to premium oysters, the award-winning restaurant brings its signature dishes to the Lower East Side for a limited time

We’re always looking for new culinary collaborations for our members to enjoy, so we’re excited that Eventide Oyster Co. is now at Ludlow House for a special takeover, bringing its modern ‘revival of the great American oyster bar’ and signature approach to seafood to the Lower East Side.

A James Beard Award winner, Eventide Oyster Co. offers a menu inspired by Maine and the Northeast. Expect a rotating oyster selection, a raw bar, and a line-up of hot plates including the New England Clam Bake – one of the restaurant’s best-loved dishes. This contemporary take on the quintessential New England dish features steamers, mussels, lobster tail, potatoes, salt pork and a hard-boiled egg over rock seaweed, finished with a nori vinaigrette.

Then there’s the famous Eventide Brown Butter Lobster Roll, which swaps the traditional split-top roll for a soft, Chinese-style steamed bun, filled with warm lobster tossed in brown butter.

And as for the dessert menu, the selection leans into nostalgic American favourites with pies leading the way – including a Maine staple, the Whoopie Pie, plus an Oatmeal Cream Pie. On the drinks list, you’ll find takeover-only specials such as the gin and saké-based ET Cooler, alongside the ‘Twisted’ Tea and a Negroni Bianco.

Bookings are now open. Dinner is served on Thursdays and Fridays from 5pm to 11pm, with all-day dining on Saturdays from 12pm to 11pm and Sundays from 12pm to 5pm. Settle in and experience one of Maine’s best seafood restaurants in New York until the end of October.
