After Chef’s Paella went viral last weekend, we pulled out all the stops to bring it back for weekend 2. With fresh lobster tails on the open fire grill and risotto slow cooking inHexClad cookware, Soho Desert House has the best food lineup in the Coachella Valley. From wood fired truffle pizza by Cecconi’s to Dirty Burgers and Picantes by Patrón, there was no shortage of Soho House favorites, but what really got the attendees excited were the culinary activations from our partners.
Food-lovers rejoiced at the bite-sized pizzas from Pizza Cupcakeand vegan chicken and waffles from New York based collective Ghetto Gastro. It was vegan heaven in the desert with tenders from Daring Chicken, plant-based tacos from Chica's Tacos, and Dirty Burgers with Beyond Meat. We even brought Erewhon to the desert for some healthy snacks.
Ronnie and Rob of Soho House Chicago’s Fox Bar served up the goods, remembering guests by name and drink of choice by the end of the day. There was something for everyone with champagne fromMoët & Chandon, Cocktails with AMASS botanics and Double Dutch Mixers, and the best Mezcal Palomas in the Coachella Valley from Rosaluna.
The festival queen herself Vanessa Hudgens showed up last weekend with her cactus water brand Caliwater to keep us cool. Trip CBD drinks, cans of iced Eliqs water, and Saint James Iced Teas kept the crowd hydrated while GRIND espresso kept everyone awake. And what was for dessert? Rolled ice cream from Pan N Ice, chocolate chip cookies from Drew’s Cookies and Gelato Festival.
Join us at Soho Desert House tomorrow for the spread in the Coachella Valley.
