There are few cocktails as iconic as the Negroni. Most accounts trace the beloved Italian aperitivo back to Florence in the early 20th century, when it was created as a stronger variation of the Americano: a blend of Campari-style liqueur with vermouth and soda water. More than a century later, the Negroni remains as popular as ever, inspiring its own global celebration. Taking place from Monday 21 to Sunday 27 September this year, Negroni Week was launched by Imbibe Magazine to raise funds and awareness for Slow Food’s mission to create a more sustainable food and drink industry.

This year, we’re partnering with Campari to help members mark the occasion in style. Select Houses and Cecconi’s locations around the world will be extending the festivities into a month-long celebration, with exclusive Negroni-inspired cocktails available for a limited time only.
Alongside the Classic Negroni, expect inventive twists on the original. Try the Peach Sbagliato – a fruit-forward take on the Negroni Sbagliato – or the French Negroni, which swaps out gin with Courvoisier VS Cognac. Many Houses around the world will also be creating their own signature variations, showcasing unique flavour combinations inspired by their local bar teams. To discover them, you’ll have to stop by and raise a glass for yourself.
Once you’ve found your favourite, why not learn how to recreate it at home? Join us for a hands-on cocktail masterclass at Little House Mayfair. Hosted together with Campari, the session will take you through the history, techniques, and ingredients behind the perfect Negroni.
Meanwhile, in the US, our Negroni Week celebrations will take place with a week of special Sunset Sessions featuring Linda Perry, serpentwithfeet and Durand Bernarr in Nashville, New York, and Portland. Expect live music, great company, and – of course – drinks by Campari.
Keep an eye on our events page for more details on upcoming masterclasses in the UK, Sunset Sessions across the US, and information on how to book your spot.
