Celebrating the relaunch of Shoreditch House with Aries

In recent months, we’ve been revisiting our east London roots, celebrating the things our members have always loved about Shoreditch House. Alongside the return of some old favourites – including the pool table in the Games Room and candy stations throughout the House – we refreshed the fifth-floor interiors and introduced a new rotating chef residency on the Back Deck.

What better way to mark this new era than with a party to celebrate the opening of London Fashion Week? We welcomed members into the House for a private sit-down dinner held in partnership with our friends at Aries, who were launching the No Problemo SS25 collection. 

Channelling east London’s eclectic culinary scene, the menu featured a blend of old-school cafe-inspired dishes and small plates that go big on flavour while using seasonal, local ingredients – in line with our bold, new food concept in the House Kitchen. Guests enjoyed cod’s roe with flatbread, pickles and chilli; chopped beef with hash browns; wild brill with leeks and girolles; and lamb leg with anchovies. And for dessert? Reimagined takes on old favourites (think raspberry trifle and chocolate fudge cake).  

Guests sipped from a menu of Casamigos cocktails, including Mezcal Margaritas. These flowed throughout the night, as Kim Turnbull and Martelo took to the decks, while rapper CASISDEAD treated members to his signature brand of personal and inventive lyricism in a surprise performance in the Library.

Our guests for the night included Aries founder Sofia Prentera, The Bear star Will Poulter and comedian Munya Chawawa. Big Boys star Dylan Llewellyn, singer Grace Carter and rapper Pa Salieu were also there, alongside actor Benedict Wong (who recently starred in Netflix’s 3 Body Problem), model Ashton Gohil, presenter and DJ Harriet Rose, and actor Raff Law. They were joined by model Lennon Gallagher, Perfect Magazine founder Katie Grand, dancer Mesh Henry, Fashion East founder Lulu Kennedy, and DJ Kelly Lee Owens. To say it was quite the night, is an understatement.
