The best events from across our Houses last week

With 41 Houses and counting, we’ve got our members covered with a non-stop programme of fun, inspiring, enlightening events taking place in our Houses all over the world. With so much going on, you could never attend all of them, no matter how well travelled you might be. Enter our Friday roundup, which puts you front and centre at the top parties, dinners and community-inspired gatherings held across our Houses over the past seven days. 

This week’s highlights include our first Barbie Night Swim at Soho House New York, a One Night Only with chef Josh Katz in London and a 1990s-themed party in Mumbai. And that’s only the start. Scroll on to see what went down.

Barbie Night Swim: Soho House New York 
Barbie painted the House pink with a special pre-release screening of the summer’s hottest flick, followed by an afterparty on the rooftop of our Manhattan House. Members showed off their best pink outfits in our Lifesize Barbie Box as DJ Soni WithanEye hit the decks. Check out our screenings page for the next showing.

One Night Only: Josh Katz in partnership with Angel's Envy, 40 Greek Street
Berber & Q chef Josh Katz popped up on the rooftop for our latest edition of One Night Only, our global series where renowned local chefs are invited to take over our kitchens and create a one-off menu for members. Katz developed a four-course menu featuring flavours drawn from his extensive exploration of the restaurants, kebab houses, food stalls and more during his travels across Turkey, Istanbul, Marrakesh and Tel Aviv. The meal was completed by an Angel's Envy cocktail paired with every course. 

YOURS EP Launch Party, 40 Greek Street
New music collective YOURS – aka Maverick Sabre, New Machine, Jake Hall and Sonny Hall – had members and friends dancing all night to the electronic sounds of their freshly-released EP at this central London house party.

Hip-hop night, featuring KHan Thaitanium, DJ Ballisticone and DJ TOB, Soho House Bangkok
Our triple bill of DJs set the Naughty Room off, with performances from their own ground-breaking hip-hop tracks, alongside top global hits from the 1990s to now. 

1990s Neon Party, Soho House Mumbai
This brightly-themed party brought all the 1990s vibes. Members dressed in white, stopping by the neon paint station before hitting the dance floor, where DJ FEEL kept the decade’s best jams playing all night.

IYKYK presents: Sundown Session with Dennis Ferrer and Lauren Lane, DUMBO House
The party series created by Ludlow House Membership Manager Austin Gebbia got its debut outing at our Brooklyn House last week. Past IYKYK events have featured the likes of Kaytranada, James Blake and Jamie Jones and this rooftop party was up there with the best of them, with a live performance from house music legend Dennis Ferrer, followed by a set from Lauren Lane.

Bar Takeover: Swift in partnership with Woodford Reserve, Little House Balham
The award-winning bar group took over our South London club’s bar last week where, for one night only, members got to enjoy Swift’s signature cocktails – featuring premium Kentucky bourbon, naturally.
