Soho Presents: The legendary Erykah Badu

There’s a certain life-affirming power to watching your favourite musicians perform live. This rings especially true for DJ Lo Down Loretta Brown, aka Erykah Badu – the women behind some of the greatest R&B albums. Known for her lyrical genius and velvety vocals, last night at Soho House Berlin she showcased her talents behind the decks, alongside her partner in crime DJ Chopstix. Performing a set that remixed hip-hop, soul, funk, and everything in between, members and their guests partied well into the night, with R&B giants Robert Glasper and H.E.R. spotted in the crowd. 

Local creative collective, Bipolar Soundsystem, continued the good times afterwards, with DJ sets by Davi BPLR and Committee member Kevin BPLR.
