Soho House Paris, five years on

A refreshed House, a new Martini bar, and a series of creative events mark half a decade of our French outpost

Since opening in 2021, Soho House Paris has become a creative home away from home in the heart of Pigalle. Set within a 19th-century building once owned by French artist and poet Jean Cocteau, it’s where old Paris meets the city’s energy and ever-evolving creative scene.

That influence can be felt throughout the five-storey space. Inspired by Cocteau’s Santo Sospir villa in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, the interiors mix period details with reclaimed features and Art Deco touches, while a collection of art and murals celebrates Paris’s enduring impact on art and culture. Home to 36 bedrooms, the House combines French-inspired interiors with contemporary comforts, alongside signature Soho House features including a leafy terrace with a plunge pool, a gym, and plenty of spaces to eat, drink, and connect.

Now, as Soho House Paris celebrates five years since opening, it’s looking ahead with a refresh of its club spaces, food and drink offering, and Soho Health Club amenities. One of the newest additions is The Cocteau, a new Martini bar named after the House’s former resident. Bringing in a cinematic, 1940s-inspired feel, the space gives members a new spot to socialise – featuring an exclusive menu of five serves. Across the House, refreshed dining spaces and updated menus pair Soho House favourites with French classics, from the Soho Smash Burger to the Croque Monsieur and Paris-Brest.

The update extends to the House’s Soho Health Club, too. A refurbished gym, new high-intensity training studio, dedicated retail space and an expanded class programme give members even more ways to work out, switch off, and make the most of their time at the House.

How we’re celebrating
In keeping with the creativity woven into the fabric of Soho House Paris, the milestone will also be marked with a programme of art and music events.
