Our top highlights from around the Houses this week

It’s June, which means we’ve made it: summer is finally here. With our members out and about enjoying the warmer weather, our Houses have programmed packed events calendars filled with live shows, inspiring talks and unique dinners. 
 
Here are our events highlights from the past few weeks.

August Charles Sound Session, Cities Without Houses Leeds
August Charles – a future soul singer-songwriter hailing from Leeds – gave a special acoustic performance for our Cities Without Houses Leeds community last week. Another local musician, DJ Junior Simba, accompanied Charles for a night of genre-bending sounds. 

One Night Only x Samrub Samrub Thai, Soho House Bangkok
Chef Prin Polsuk and the team behind Samrub Samrub Thai hosted a special dinner at Soho House Bangkok as part of our One Night Only series, allowing members to taste the culinary delights from renowned chefs and restaurants at their local House. Highlights from the menu included Young Mangosteen with sweet fish sauce, Fresh-Water Seaweed Cracker with galangal, sesame and wild honey, and Grilled Duck Breast with five-spiced sauce and roti.

Soho Presents: HONNE, Soho House Hong Kong
Last week, English electronic music duo, HONNE, stopped by our Hong Kong club before their sold-out show at Star Hall the next day. The duo, comprised of James Hatcher and Andy Clutterbuck, performed an acoustic set in our House Studio in partnership with our friends at Bacardí.

Fashion for Brunch: marrying creativity and commerce in fashion with Payal Singhal, Soho House Mumbai
On Saturday, fashion journalist Praachi Raniwala brought her expertise to Soho House Mumbai for a conversation with leading fashion designer, Payal Singhal. The two industry leaders discussed what it takes to create a successful and profitable fashion empire that balances business and design.

Disco dating with East Nashville Disco Balls, Soho House Nashville
Maddie Adler of East Nashville Disco Balls, and local creative director Josh Owen brought their singles mixer ‘Disco Dating’ to the House for a night of connection, disco-inspired cocktails, and sounds from Blair Winters and Co. Our single members chatted, mingled and left the evening with a date or two on the cards. 

Secret Sounds x Distortion festival with Honey Dijon, Soho House Copenhagen 
Denmark’s biggest street party Distortion and Soho House teamed up to bring Honey Dijon to Copenhagen for the latest edition of Secret Sounds, our series of surprise performances from our favourite musicians in partnership with Patrón. The DJ performed a memorable set on stage outside the House for the ultimate street party.
