Inside our pre-opening events at Soho House Manchester 

In anticipation of the opening of Soho House Manchester, we kicked things off with a series of pre-opening events created to give our new community a taste of what’s to come. From Friday night onwards, the House transformed into a vibrant hub of conversation and special music performances featuring a set by Loyle Carner, and a Secret Soho Sounds session in partnership with Patrón.

Secret Soho Sounds: Primal Scream, in partnership with Patrón
We opened the weekend with an electric performance by musical legends Primal Scream. The audience came alive to the sounds of acid house-meets rock, Balearic anthems, swaggering rock and psychedelic soul. It was a tribute to the British music and rave counter-culture that is at the centre of Mancunian music. Guests enjoyed Picantes and Patrón cocktails, dancing late into the night. 

Soho Unplugged: Loyle Carner, in partnership with Johnnie Walker
Beloved British hip-hop artist Loyle Carner took to the stage for an intimate and soulful performance, and also shared the stories behind his music and career to date. The room soaked up his tranquil sounds, hung on to every word, and sipped on Johnnie Walker cocktails throughout the night.

Soho Presents: 2manydjs, in partnership with Bacardí
Saturday 29 November 
Belgian brothers Stephen and David Dewaele, better known as 2manydjs, will be joining us for a private gig at Soho House Manchester. The party-starting duo will play a lively set with rum-based cocktails by Bacardí. 

Tokyo Nights, in partnership with Asahi
Friday 5 December 
If you love karaoke, don’t miss this. Inspired by the neon pulse of Tokyo, the night features karaoke sessions, street food-style bites from New Wave Ramen, and a soundtrack from Charlie Bones played on Rainy Heart’s Tokyo listening bar-inspired audiophile rig.

One Night Only, in partnership with The Platinum Card® by American Express
Thursday 11 December 
Join us for a unique, one-night-only experience of music, performance, food, and drink – all inspired by American Express’s world of dining and travel. Enjoy DJ sets by Honey Dijon and Mike Skinner, supported by sounds from our resident DJs. Schofield’s will take over the bar serving speciality cocktails, and Matteo D’Elia of Manchester favourite, Louis, will provide complimentary desserts – all courtesy of Amex® Platinum.


Beyond these highlights, you can also look forward to live performances by Wolf Alice, Nia Archives, and Goldie. Bridget Christie will be joining us for a comedy set, and we’ll host talks with Lee Swillingham and Miranda Sawyer, James Nelson-Joyce, Russell T Davies and AJ Odudu, Maria Balshaw and Louise Giovanelli, and Nihal Arthanayake and The Warehouse Project.
