House Nights: Leon Bridges hits the Windy City

For many, Sunday is a day of rest, but for a handful of unsuspecting Soho House Chicago members, last Sunday involved an impromptu gig by Grammy Award-winning Southern soul singer, Leon Bridges.

Accompanied only by an acoustic guitar, the Columbia Records artist began his set with hit songs from his debut studio album, Coming Home, finishing with tracks from his Texas Moon EP – a collaborative project with trailblazing Houston trio, Khruangbin. Between songs, Bridges explained to the crowd the intentions and stories behind them, making an already special evening one for the record books.
