A room full of fans stood in awe as Cautious Clay took to the stage at Soho House Holloway last weekend. The intimate show started off with singles ‘Dying In The Subtlety’ and ‘Wildfire’ from his 2021 album, Deadpan Love. Clay, a multi-instrumentalist, gave us a special set with just vocals and an acoustic guitar player to accompany him.

The experimental R&B artist didn’t miss an opportunity to impress, bringing out his flute, one of the instruments he grew up playing as a child. Fans also got to hear tracks that brought Clay to fame in 2018, including ‘Joshua Tree’, ‘Stolen Moments’, and ‘Cold War’ from Blood Type, and ‘Call Me’ from his Resonance EP. The set ended with ‘Puffer’, his newest single that’s on its way to becoming a bona-fide indie summer jam.

Scroll on for more from the show.
