From Q&As with Kate Hudson and Ariana Grande in Hollywood to a Japanese supper club in Shoreditch to celebrate our new House in Tokyo, here’s how we began 2026

With January well underway, our Houses around the world have been a hive of activity. In West Hollywood, we welcomed Q&As from red-carpet royalty as awards season gets into full swing, while our members in west London combated the winter blues at a Club Sounds party with techno powerhouse Job Jobse.

Screening and Q&A: Song Sung Blue with Kate Hudson and Demi Moore
Soho House West Hollywood
As awards season buzz reaches fever pitch, Demi Moore hosted a special screening of friend Kate Hudson’s new movie Song Sung Blue, with Hudson emerging as a frontrunner for an Oscar® nomination. The guest of honour? Pilaf, Moore’s pocket-sized Chihuahua – a red-carpet regular and a celebrity in his own right.

Screening and Q&A: Song Sung Blue with Kate Hudson and Demi Moore

As awards season buzz reaches fever pitch, Demi Moore hosted a special screening of friend Kate Hudson’s new movie Song Sung Blue, with Hudson emerging as a frontrunner for an Oscar® nomination. The guest of honour? Pilaf, Moore’s pocket-sized Chihuahua – a red-carpet regular and a celebrity in his own right.
Tokyo Nights: Millie Tsukagoshi Lagares x Pen Yen
Shoreditch House
To celebrate the opening of our new House in Tokyo, members were invited to step into an immersive evening inspired by the electric spirit of Japan’s capital in the heart of east London. Held in partnership with Asahi Super Dry, the night featured a specially curated menu by Millie Tsukagoshi Lagares – recently voted one of Time Out’s ‘Best Young Chefs in London’ – in collaboration with our Japanese restaurant, Pen Yen. The menu included ramen and izakaya dishes from Lagares’ book, Umai, which were enjoyed to the soundtrack of a curated vinyl set by Am Ubhi.

Soho House Mumbai
Nonbinary writer, performance artist, and activist Alok Vaid-Menon joined members for a discussion at Soho House Mumbai. Known for their fearless honesty and deeply human storytelling, the conversation explored identity, belonging, beauty, and queer joy, offering space for listening, questioning, and imagining new ways of being seen.

Nonbinary writer, performance artist, and activist Alok Vaid-Menon joined members for a discussion at Soho House Mumbai. Known for their fearless honesty and deeply human storytelling, the conversation explored identity, belonging, beauty, and queer joy, offering space for listening, questioning, and imagining new ways of being seen.
Screening and Q&A: Wicked: For Good with Ariana Grande
Soho House West Hollywood
Following a special screening of Wicked: For Good, Ariana Grande took to the stage at Soho House West Hollywood to host a panel discussion with the film’s casting directors, Bernard Tesley and Tiffany Little Canfield. During the event, Grande also signed a Glinda Bubbly Pink perfume bottle as a keepsake for one lucky guest.

As part of our signature Soho Presents series, in partnership with Bacardí, Soho House Istanbul welcomed Grammy-nominated producer, vocalist and electronic artist ZHU. Known for his blend of deep house, live instrumentation and unmistakable vocal style, he has taken his sound to major stages including Coachella and Lollapalooza since the 2014 release of his global breakthrough hit, ‘Faded’.

Screening and Q&A: Sentimental Value with Elle Fanning
Soho House West Hollywood
Following a screening of Joachim Trier’s critically acclaimed comedy-drama, Sentimental Value, we handed the mic over to Elle Fanning, who was nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in the movie, which racked up a total of eight nominations at this year’s awards – a new record for a Norwegian film.
Soho House Bangkok
Best known for his roles in major action-fantasy film franchises – including Mortal Kombat, Into the Badlands, and Wu Assassins – actor Lewis Tan surprised members at Soho House Bangkok with a Secret Soho Sounds performance, in partnership with Patrón. An established DJ, his sets blend deep house, disco, and late-night electronic sounds, shaped by years spent between London, LA, and Asia.
Club Sounds: Job Jobse
White City House
One of the world’s most in-demand DJs, Job Jobse, brought his signature euphoric house to west London for our latest Club Sounds event, in partnership with Grey Goose, at White City House. Having risen to infamy in Amsterdam’s club scene, the Dutch DJ kept the dance floor moving all night, blending disco, techno, trance, and dreamscape electronica.
