House Nights: Goya Gumbani brings New York to west London

House Nights: Goya Gumbani brings New York to West London | Soho House

The south London-based rapper kick-started our latest Soho Rising series with his Brooklyn-tinted bars

Supported by Bowers & Wilkins, Soho Rising is our platform that champions and uncovers emerging talent in the music industry by inviting upcoming artists to perform in our Houses. First up in the series is Goya Gumbani, who delivered a jazz-infused hip-hop set of his seven-track EP, Krystin, (named after his late sister) at White City House. Comparable to the intimacy that’s found in jazz bars, Gumbani captivated the room with his lyrics exploring love, loss and learning over the EP’s introspective and meditative production.
