3. Hungama EP listening party at Shoreditch House
Ryan Lanji is a TV personality, cultural curator and founder of Hungama, the UK’s first LGBTQ+ Bollywood club night. At this listening party, he celebrates five years of his acclaimed night, and the launch of a new EP, which is inspired by the bootleg remixes of the early millennium found on the streets of Southall.

Joining Lanji on the night to discuss the community they build and why it’s important to hear South Asian music in South Asian spaces are several guest speakers. These include cabaret and drag, artist Bolly-Illusion; writer and film-maker, Nick Virk; artists SPIT XL and Seeva; DJ and radio host, Shimmy Ahmed, and artist and producer, Multibeam.

5. Perudo nights: mini tournament at White City House
Feeling lucky? Sit down for an evening of Perudo, a dice game involving guesswork, bluffing, and chance. Based on the South American game, ‘Liar’s Dice’, and played in teams of six, this tournament consists of several rounds that lead to a semi-final and final, with prizes for the winners. Enjoy a complimentary welcome drink and snacks on arrival.

Please note, this event is available on a first-come, first-served basis, so arrive early if you wish to attend.

6. Soho Rising presents: Willow Kayne at Shoreditch House
For our next Soho Rising installment, we welcome Willow Kayne, a genre-blurring pop artist whose eclecticism she attributes to being raised by a hip-hop and house-obsessed father, and a mother who produced videos for the likes of Erasure and The Prodigy. James Brown, Nas and MF DOOM were all significant early influences, and Kayne also cites artists as diverse as Tyler, The Creator, the Sex Pistols, Gorillaz, and Portishead as sources of musical inspiration.

Soho Rising, supported by Bowers & Wilkins, is our platform for championing the best emerging talent around, giving you the chance to see the stars of tomorrow first. Please note: the performance starts at 9pm, but this event is open on a first-come, first-served basis. Please arrive early if you wish to attend.
