Writer-director Parker Foster talks about how he’s been able to harness his struggle with mental health (anxiety and depression) and use it as a healthy creative release in his work. Members are welcome to participate in the conversation to share their own experiences, too.

2. I AM CARIBBEING presents Paul Beaubrun and Zing Experience on Tuesday at DUMBO House
I AM CARIBBEING is a multidisciplinary venture dedicated to showcasing Caribbean culture, art and film in Greater New York City and around the world, where art, culture and lifestyle meet global Caribbean and Latinx heritage. To kick off Caribbean Heritage Month in July, we welcome Paul Beaubrun and Zing Experience for a live performance in the Sitting Room of DUMBO House. Seating is first come, first served.

3. Art Form with Quiana Parks on Tuesday at Soho House New York
Art Form is an interactive event series at the intersection of music, art and food, where DJs push their sets to the next level to create performance art. Changing the perception of what a DJ is by seeing turntables as instruments rather than technology, Quiana Parks (DJ/ artist) and Cierra Britton (curator/ art dealer) join forces for a multi-sensory evening.

5. Restaurant pop-up: Ten Homakase on Wednesday at Ludlow House
Ten Homakase takes over Ludlow House for a series of sushi-based pop-ups every Monday to Wednesday in the garden. There are two options to choose from for the 7pm seating: a five-course hand roll set for $68 (plus tax, Tock service fees) and a Ludlow House special omakase featuring an appetizer, and six-course omakase and hand roll for $77 (plus tax, Tock service fees).

6. House Sessions: Arin Ray on Wednesday at Soho House New York
Soho House is excited to welcome Arin Ray for a live performance in the Vinyl Room. The contemporary R&B artist is known for competing on the US version of The X Factor and being mentored by Britney Spears, before becoming an in-demand songwriter prior to landing a major label deal. Since then, Ray has released a single, ‘Turn It Up’, and co-written songs for Jason Derulo, Chris Brown, K. Michelle, Ro James, DJ Mustard, and Jahkoy.

10. House Sessions: Jordan Hawkins on Friday at Soho House New York
Welcome to the Jordan Hawkins experience, a project presented by the LA-bred, 24-year-old rockstar. With a heavy influence from rock ‘n’ roll, soul and funk, Hawkins graces the Vinyl Room stage with his undeniable tone and textured vocals. Tonight, he sings songs from his EP, Heart Won’t Stop.
