4. Night Swim: Mindchatter on Wednesday at SHNY
Hit the pool and get your swim on as NYC-native Mindchatter takes to the stage for the latest edition of Night Swim. The singer-songwriter gained recognition for his genre-defying sound and unique approach shortly after his debut single ‘Trippy’ dropped in 2019, earning early praise from the likes of Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1. It wasn’t long before he was signed to Mind Of A Genius Records, where he released his albums Imaginary Audience and Dream Soup. But it’s live performance that really sets Mindchatter apart. Known for bringing an immersive live set with a one-of-a-kind visual experience, 2022 alone has seen the artist support French duo Polo & Pan on their North American tour while also embarking on his own 13-city headline tour, which took in and marquee festivals, such as Coachella and Bonnaroo.

7. Santigold album playback on Friday at SHNY
Presented by ATC and Dirty Soup, Santigold will be joining us in the Vinyl Room for an exclusive playback of her new album, Spirituals. A genre-defying musician, style renegade and visionary artist across multiple platforms, Santigold is celebrated for her fearless ability to fuse unexpected elements into bold new work. Her singular aesthetic has made her a major muse, watched by the inspired world. ‘This record is about the multidimensionality of being – transformation, transcendence, and evolution,’ she says of Spirituals, which is set to drop on 9 September and captures the feeling of surviving in the modern world while elevating yourself to new places. ‘In struggle, we see parts of ourselves that we don’t necessarily see in other times. For those of us who were willing to take a look, there was a lot of opportunity in the past couple of years to really evolve, and this record was about me showing up to do that.’ After the playback, stick around for a late-night Santigold-inspired DJ set.
