Tuesday 28 April 2026 By Anna D’Alessio

Soho Summit returned to Oxfordshire last week, bringing trailblazers and inspiring voices from the worlds of art, music, film, fashion, and TV together with members at Soho Farmhouse for a vibrant programme of workshops, screenings, and conversations, powered by Porsche. As always, guests and speakers were invited to consider a defining question. This year: what happens when creative worlds collide? Read on to find out.

Guests arrived at Soho Farmhouse on Wednesday, checking into their bedrooms and enjoying the House’s amenities before an opening event with a welcome speech by Porsche, which featured a Porsche-inspired cocktail, Tomorrow, Imagined. Created by Shaquille Kabba from Soho House 40 Greek Street, the drink was crafted with vodka or non-alcoholic Seedlip Garden 108.

They were also invited behind the wheel of both the iconic Porsche 911 and Taycan at the Porsche Experience Centre, Silverstone.

Later in the Barwell Barn, we hosted a conversation between actor, activist, writer and businesswoman Pamela Anderson and radio presenter Anita Rani. Here, the duo discussed Anderson’s career and vegan skincare line Sonsie, which she co-founded and co-owns. The evening then eased into a screening of The Last Showgirl, introduced by Anderson herself, and ended with the Soho Sunset Mixer with NOAM beer and nibbles.

A full programme of panel talks, workshops and immersive experiences unfolded on the summit’s second day, including the chance to test drive the all-electric Porsche Macan, taking in the views of the Oxfordshire countryside. The morning began with an art walk led by Kate Bryan, Chief Art Director for Soho House, who guided members through the Soho Farmhouse collection. Highlights included Yinka Ilori’s ‘Beacon of Dreams’ sculpture, created as part of the Soho Visionaries series, powered by Porsche, which champions both established and emerging artists.

At the Hay Barn, the day’s talks opened with Dermot O’Leary in conversation with the cast of the Disney+ comedy-drama, Rivals, adapted from the late Jilly Cooper’s novel of the same name. Aidan Turner, Emily Atack, Bella Maclean, and producer Felicity Blunt shared on-set secrets and insights into what to expect from the second season – which promises to be just as entertaining as the first. They also paid tribute to Cooper, described affectionately as ‘hands-on, kind and whippet-smart’.

Next, Candice Brathwaite hosted a conversation with Isabel Mangold, Limited Series product manager at Porsche, and interior designer Kelly Hoppen that explored innovation through change, the power of design, and the importance of individualisation. The Porsche Cayenne – launched more than two decades ago – was held up as a prime example of all three, blending sports car DNA with off-road capability.

The afternoon continued with a conversation between filmmaker Nia DaCosta and actor Jack O’Connell about their recent collaboration on 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple. DaCosta traced her journey from deciding she wanted to direct at 12, through her studies at NYU and her move to London, emphasising the importance of maintaining a distinct creative voice when working with major studios and her experience as a woman director in a male-dominated industry. This was followed by a discussion between artist, author and illustrator Charlie Mackesy and Soho House Chief Art Director Kate Bryan, exploring cross-discipline creativity – from Mackesy’s early career at The Spectator to his work with Nelson Mandela on the Unity Series project.

Hannah Waddingham then joined broadcaster Clara Amfo on the Hay Barn stage to reflect on the success of Ted Lasso, including her special relationship with co-star, friend and ‘true feminist’ Jason Sudeikis. They discussed Waddingham’s wide-ranging career, from screen and stage to hosting Eurovision.

Later, guests enjoyed a conversation between Gary Lineker and Alex Aljoe, drawing on their collaboration on The Rest is Football podcast. Lineker reflected on his 40-year career, from Italia 90 to using his platform to speak on social issues. Filmmaker and actor Taika Waititi closed the day’s talks with a conversation led by actor Joel Edgerton, reflecting on his instinct-led approach to filmmaking across indie projects, blockbusters including Thor: Ragnarok, and Oscar® winner Jojo Rabbit, and how feeling uncomfortable is often a sign of meaningful creative growth.

Elsewhere, the Glasshouse hosted workshops ranging from printmaking with Danny Augustine and fermentation with Tim Spector, to collaging with Julie Verhoeven and Martini making in partnership with Jo Vodka, created by entrepreneur Jo Malone CBE. At the Barwell Barn, Seedlip served non-alcoholic cocktails and introduced members to the art of dry mixology in a session led by Emanuele Mensah, a GB champion of the World Class bartending competition.

As evening fell, the screening room hosted a masterclass on screenwriting with The Devil Wears Prada writer Aline Brosh McKenna, who shared insights into writing for film and television in today’s rapidly changing industry.

For those staying at Soho Farmhouse, the day concluded with dinner at the Hay Barn, followed by a live musical performance from singer-songwriter and record producer James Blake.

Friday 24 April
Soho Summit’s final day opened with a talk bringing together the creatives behind the BBC’s acclaimed series, The Traitors, in the Barwell Barn. Hosted by former professional rugby player – and Celebrity Traitors star – Joe Marler, executive producer Sarah Fay and creative director Mike Cotton covered crafting television with enduring, cross-generational appeal. And guests were even given the chance to try on a traitor’s iconic green cloak. The day continued with a masterclass on building a business, led by Rochelle Humes and hosted by Dior Bediako. Together, they explored the importance of recognising your strengths when building a brand, why ‘doing it all’ takes a village, and Humes’ journey with her brand, My Little Coco.

The Barwell Barn’s last talk of the day was a conversation moderated by journalist and broadcaster Amol Rajan, featuring author Salman Rushdie and his wife, artist and novelist Rachel Eliza Griffiths. The discussion explored Rushdie’s life-changing 2022 on-stage attack, and Griffiths’ recent memoir, The Flower Bearers. The session concluded with Rushdie sharing advice on storytelling: ‘have a good idea – and see it to completion. Writers are people who finish books.’

To close Soho Summit, members gathered for a private showing of The Intern, powered by Porsche, in the screening room. Directed by and starring Adrien Brody, the documentary offers a behind-the-scenes look inside Porsche’s Stuttgart factory, following the actor as he works alongside the team and immerses himself in the world behind the brand.

Reflecting the theme of ‘trailblazing’, the Farmyard entrance featured a showcase charting the evolution of the Cayenne – a model that made history when it launched in 2002 and has since spanned four generations, the latest of which is the all-electric Cayenne, which brings together sports-car heritage, cutting-edge electric mobility, and impressive range. Across all three days, members were also invited to explore a display of Porsche’s classic models, including the Porsche 550 Spyder and the Porsche 356, the brand’s first production sports car.

A big thank you to our long-standing headline partner Porsche, supporting partners Seedlip and NOAM, and our flight partner Virgin Atlantic.
