Korean cooking classes and strawberry picking - snapshots from our California roadtrip in partnership with Genesis Motor America

Last weekend, 20 lucky members hopped in a fleet of Genesis vehicles for a California road trip experience full of adventure.
After meeting at Little Beach House Malibu for breakfast and to collect a gift bag filled with Erewhon treats and a Polaroid camera to document the day ahead, the group climbed into Genesis’s GV80s, GV70s and G70s. From there, they headed to their first stop, Underwood Family Farms. Once at the farm, time was spent picking fresh strawberries and an array of vegetables to be used later on. With a bounty of produce in hand, the Genesis fleet departed for the next locale: Hummingbird Nest Ranch.
At the ranch, nestled between the rolling hills of the Santa Susana Mountains in Southern California, Soho House’s Head of Experiences, Tino DeMartino, led a stretching class targeting relaxation and renewal. And for the highlight of the day, chef Grace Dong – Chef de Cuisine at Mandolin Taverna – taught a Korean-inspired cooking class, complete with the fresh fruit and vegetables picked earlier at Underwood Family Farms. Relaxed, full and refreshed, members drove back to Malibu in time to catch the sunset over the ocean.
