Alongside the look and feel of the new House, and food and drink offerings, our teams are also working hard to build a sense of community among our soon-to-be new members with events that offer a chance to get to know each other, as well as the local House team. Taking place in the lead-up to our pre-opening party, these range from a pre-marathon run session and post-race party to a special event for International Women’s Day.
Soho Brunch Feast
Sunday 22 February
We kick things off with a daytime event that offers Soho House Tokyo members a chance to get together and meet the diverse community that will make their local House special from the start. And what better way to do that than to build the day around one of our signature Feast-style brunches – with food prepared by chef Richard McLellan – alongside House drinks.
There will also be a sneak peek of our Teeny House offering – so bring your little ones along and let them enjoy a taste of all the fun and games that lie ahead.
Tokyo Marathon weekend
Saturday 28 February and Sunday 1 March
The weekend that says goodbye to winter and hello to spring means just one thing in 2026: the Tokyo Marathon. As the first of the seven annual marathon ‘majors’ – which draw the world’s elite long-distance runners to courses across four continents – it sets the tone for the races that follow.
Of course, with thousands of local and international amateurs running alongside – an estimated 39,000 will compete this year – the 26-mile event is also just great fun. And Soho House Tokyo is joining in that fun, starting with a 5k pre-race, shake-out run session on Saturday morning designed to loosen the legs, build shared energy, and ease into race weekend at a marathon-friendly pace.
On Sunday night, our celebrations set a different tone, as the House takes over creative space Hven for the Post-Marathon Groove – a post-race release party soundtracked by DJs from the international running community. Come along for an evening of music, movement and recovery moments (hydration and protein included) as we celebrate the shared energy of the finish line.
The House Shaped by Her
Friday 6 March
Soho House Tokyo is honouring International Women’s Day with a special event at the city’s historic Kudan House. Join us there for a day that’s curated and shaped by women from our community to celebrate creatives across generations through dialogue, craftsmanship, and artistry.
Highlights include an art installation by underwater and subaquatic artist Ai Futaki, and live music by folk singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Ichiko Aoba. Plus, there’s a specially designed lounge space where members can enjoy Soho House’s signature afternoon tea.
Pre-opening party with Onitsuka Tiger
Friday 3 April
As the House opening draws nearer, we’ll get things started with a special pre-opening celebration, in partnership with lifestyle brand Onitsuka Tiger. And what better way to kick things off than with Soho House Tokyo’s first almost-official pool party. Come along for live music acts you won’t want to miss, alongside a special light installation, signature drinks, snacks, and more.
Discover House 44 at F1 Paddock Club™, Suzuka
Thursday 26 to Sunday 29 March
Watch the season’s biggest races in style at the Soho House pop-up in F1 Paddock Club™, created in collaboration with Lewis Hamilton and F1®. Our first pop-up of the season, House 44 will be arriving in Suzuka from Thursday 26 to Sunday 29 March, just in time for cherry blossom season. Set above the pit lane, the suite will overlook figure of eight thrills, while also playing witness to some of the most creative and unique F1® fans in the world.
