Last week, we kicked off a new era of Soho House New York. Alongside some interiors changes – including the return of the pool table and candy station, plus updated furniture and fixtures – and new food and Martini menus, we’ve turned our attention to the House’s programming. Moving forward, members can expect a new and improved line-up of regular and special events that includes live musical performances, comedy sets, parties, and Soho Health Club wellness offerings.
And what better way to introduce all of this than with a week of memorable moments for our New York members? Read on to discover the highlights from a very exciting week within our clubs throughout the city, and keep an eye on the events page to stay updated on everything that’s coming up.
House Comedy with Mo Gilligan
Ludlow House
Mo Gilligan is one of the UK’s biggest comedy stars – in fact, he was previously named ‘The Funniest Man in Britain’. Bringing his signature brand of observational comedy to members across the pond, at Ludlow House in the Lower East Side Gilligan hosted a special one-off evening of stand-up, followed by a late-night party.

Brooklyn-born chef Hillary Sterling, executive chef of Ci Siamo in Manhattan, joined us for a special One Night Only dinner as part of our International Women’s Day celebrations. Members enjoyed a four-course menu that included an amuse bouche of Scallop Tartare, followed by Rigatoni all’Amatriciana with guanciale, tomato and pecorino, and Braised Lamb with potatoes and green olives. Celebrating a thrilling finale of season three of The Traitors, we were joined by reality TV icon and The Biggest Loser host Bob Harper for a packed-out watch party. DJ Stretch Armstrong set
Soho House New York
To welcome members into the newly refurbished club space at Soho House New York, we hosted a special set from New York native Adrian Bartos – otherwise known as DJ Stretch Armstrong. His set captured the iconic hip-hop sounds of the city in the 1980s and 1990s, blending them with modern classics, too.

Members took to the dance floor for a special edition of Club Sounds – our regular night that spotlights the best dance music from around the world.
