From member exhibitions and panel talks to the hottest afterparties, here’s what’s happening at the House as the annual art fair finally returns to the city

Tuesday 21 February 2023   By Soho House

In just a few weeks, Art Basel will be back in Hong Kong for the first time in years, welcoming local and international artists and creatives to celebrate the homegrown talents of Asia-Pacific’s art scene. To mark the occasion, we’re hosting a special art week at Soho House Hong Kong and, as always, we’ve got an exciting calendar of events for members in the city.

Kicking off on Thursday 16 March, our series of events will take place across two weeks to coincide with Art Basel and Art Central, with everything from collection tours and member exhibitions to panel talks and afterparties on the agenda. So, whether you’re a Hong Kong local or returning to the city for its biggest cultural moment of the year, you won’t want to miss any of the happenings at the House.

What’s more, members who are visiting Hong Kong for Art Basel will get 20% off bedrooms at The Upper House, a small luxury hotel in the city designed by local architect Andre Fu. The stay also comes with HK$500 dining credit per night, complimentary access to group wellness classes, confirmed upgrade at time of booking, and private car transfer to and from Soho House – subject to availability.

Here’s what you can expect from our Hong Kong Art Week events line-up.
