Work hard, eat well, party poolside: Soho Warehouse has it all

As if you need another excuse to visit LA, our Downtown outpost is getting a glow up this season. Set in a former storage facility-turned-recording studio, Soho Warehouse boasts seven floors of sleek industrial interiors and contemporary art. With 48 bedrooms, a garden and a rooftop pool with views of the whole city, Soho Warehouse is the place to be on the east side of the city – especially with rooftop season upon us. 

We’ve got a long list of new programming and offerings designed to take you from early morning long into the night, including a major increase in our workout classes – both in the gym and on the roof – from 6am to 10am every day; a new healthy-eating and work space on the first floor (complete with smoothie bar); a new House Kitchen menu exclusive to DTLA, and an expanded roster of club events and rooftop happenings.  

Below are all the updates you need to know about spending your day to night at Soho Warehouse this spring and summer.

First floor: daytime
Coffee and Co-Work
The Garden and Tavern has been transformed into a self-service test kitchen with healthy breakfast items. Stop by the smoothie bar post-gym, then get straight onto your morning calls in our co-working space. There’s a new lunch menu too, featuring build-your-own vegetable and grain bowls, healthy soups, and sandwiches. The space is open Monday to Friday, with food available from 7am to 2.30pm, beverages until 4.30pm. 

The Garden and Tavern spaces will also host special daytime events, such as our Mother’s Day gospel Feast in the Garden on Sunday 14 May. 

First floor: nighttime 
Garden, Tavern and Gym
Come evening and the Garden is now home to our hero food and drink experiences, such as One Night Only, our global series for which renowned local chefs are invited to take over our kitchens and create a one-off menu for members. The area will also host Member Marketplaces, complete with food trucks, and other regular events – including Cook House, House Tonic and more – to highlight the stellar culinary community local to the House. 

This Saturday 7 May, we celebrate the new Garden space with a House Party, hosted by all-inclusive house music collective Chocolate House. Later in the month, Badmaash x Jon & Vinny’s will be bringing all your signature Jon & Vinny’s favourites. 

Day to night – floor-by-floor
Gym Classes (First & Second Floors)
We’re taking our gym programming up a notch this season. Spread over two floors, the Gym is an equipment and studio space for working out and winding down, with everything you need to sweat it out or re-centre. You’ll find a studio space, stretch area, functional turf training, a steam room and saunas. 

We’re also introducing additional gym classes each morning and evening, with a range of everything from yoga to dance and run club. Discover the full line-up and book under our gym classes section on the app. 

House Kitchen, Club Bar and Drawing Room (Sixth Floor)
Our Club floor is home to the House Kitchen, Sitting Room West, Sitting Room East, and our member events space for connection and community, the Drawing Room. 

Exclusive to Soho Warehouse, the new House Kitchen menu focuses on seasonal ingredients from local farms and dishes cooked on wood-fired grills and pizza ovens. Enjoy a Little Gem Caesar, Grilled Artichokes with preserved lemon aioli and Black Hawk Steak Tartare. Alongside these, you’ll find familiar House favourites, such as Butter Chicken, Brick Chicken and our Chocolate Chip Cookies. We’re also bringing in the freshest seafood – of which the citrusy Black Seabream and Grilled Prawns with kaffir lime yoghurt is not to be missed. Chefs James Schienle and Andrea Cavaliere can’t wait for you to try them all.  

Rooftop, Pool and Bar (Seventh Floor)
The rooftop boasts a pool with city views and sunbeds for tanning by day, an outdoor lounge and an indoor section. The pool is first-come, first-served, and operates a waitlist. At night, the space transforms into the perfect wind-down sunset spot, before evolving into a nightlight hub for DJ sets, Night Swims, and parties. 

Upcoming highlights include wellness experiences, such as Mental Health Pilates with Britt Turpack, on Friday 19 May, and several not-to-be-missed parties, starting with the Send Noodz Prom, which kicks off AAPI month this Saturday 7 May.

The new Soho Warehouse events programme 

From rooftop fashion shows to all-out house parties: Soho Warehouse has seen its fair share of iconic events. Now we’re taking it up a notch with a new seven-day events programme kicking in across every space of the club, each of which is themed under its own pillar, starting with some of this month’s highlights. 


Monday
Industry Night  
The first official day of the working week will be dedicated to industry folk and U27 members, so they can make the most of their days off and deals. 

On Monday 8 May, join us in the sixth-floor Drawing Room for The Gworlz Are A Vibe: Conversations About Creating Music. Host Kelsey Corrine, Grammy-nominated saxophonist, composer and artist Braxton Cook and rising Afrobeats sensation Adaorah discuss what inspired Braxton's interest in jazz and how life has treated them on tour. It features a special performance of her hit single 'Rock My Borry’ from Adaorah. Book your space at the event. 

Tuesday 
House Talks 
Our new series of discussions focuses on the creative industries – from fashion and art to music, filmmaking and more – to help members connect and get engaged. 

Wednesday
Community  
These weekly hump-day events lean into local happenings in the creative world and beyond and feature workshops, field trips and more. 

On Wednesday 10 May, local chef Tanima is joining members on the roof for a special house supper. Then, to close out the month’s events, join the Zero Below Grillz community in the Drawing Room on Wednesday 24 May for some new teeth jewellery and gems.

Thursday
Music  
Think live performances, comedy, release parties, House Sessions and more, at these weekly sessions. 

Join us in the Drawing Room on Thursday 11 May, for a musical experience from Ego Deth. Each performance by the all-improv, experimental collision of jazz, hip-hop and sounds is unique, never to be repeated again. The evening will feature band leader and music director Christopher Wray (Butch Walker, Lykke Li), with special guests. 

Friday
TGIF  
Start your weekends right with all the parties. We’re talking DJ sets, happy hours, Secret Sounds performances and more. 

Join us on the rooftop this Friday 4 May for rhythms of reggae, soca, dancehall, zouk and Afrobeats from No Man Curse. Next week, on Friday 12 May, Junior M – the latest dance music pseudonym of Berlin-via-NYC’s Marco Gomez – is stopping by the Drawing Room for a sound session. Expect a night of sultry international house vibes.  

Saturday
All House Party 
Featuring performances by groundbreaking talent and House Parties in the Drawing Room, Soho Presents and our other large-scale music franchises, Saturdays are for those moments you only experience at Soho House. (Not to mention day and night pool parties all summer long.)

This is a party you won’t want to miss: on Saturday 20 May Chicago-based collective All Summa join us in the Drawing Room for a night of fun and great music. The following week, on Saturday 27 May, step into the new era as TroyBakerSound brings his fusion of reggae and dancehall, featuring live performances by Troy Baker, Dale Dizzle Virgo and Charlie Knight in the first-floor Garden. 

Sunday
Wellness, Family, and Food & Beverage 
The focus here is on recovery and relaxation, with morning workouts, and Feast in the Garden, as well as family and Teeny House activities.

This Sunday 7 May, join us in the Drawing Room for a live recording of the COOL MOMS podcast, hosted by Elise Peterson. Featuring mothers who prioritise their passions, this episode features 143 radio DJ and mom SoSuperSam. While on Sunday 14 May we’re hosting a special Mother’s Day gospel edition of Feast in the Garden.
