2. House Trip: Juneteenth Freedom Market at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago on Friday
Celebrate by joining Refine Collective and the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago for the second annual Juneteenth Freedom Market, a bold and joyous celebration of Black creativity and entrepreneurship in Chicago. It will also feature a diverse range of 50-plus local Black-owned businesses, live entertainment courtesy of the renowned 40+ Double Dutch Club, and sounds by DJ Slot-A and DJ Cut-Cuz.

3. Juneteenth: Faith & Freedom on Sunday at Soho House Austin
Juneteenth: Faith & Freedom is an unscripted documentary that invites viewers into the story of Juneteenth through the eyes of a Black man learning about the holiday from direct descendants of those liberated.

4. Maison Marcel Rosé Juneteenth Ball on Sunday at Soho Warehouse
This Juneteenth, we’re taking over the pool for a rosé ball. Join Black-owned wine company Maison Marcel for an unforgettable evening filled with DJ sets and a special live performance.

5. Juneteenth Black designer pop-up and trap gospel with BruceGlen on Sunday at DUMBO House
DUMBO House celebrates Juneteenth with an all-day Black designer pop-up curated by BruceGlen in the Library, where members can shop clothing and accessory brands from Johnny Nelson, Kimberly Goldson, and more. Afterwards, stick around for a Q&A with BruceGlen from 2pm to 3.30pm, moderated by actress Shoniqua Shandai from Prime Video’s new hit series, Harlem. Following the discussion, head to the rooftop for a trap gospel brunch as BruceGlen host a party in honour of Pride and Juneteenth. Don’t miss performances by NYC-based gospel artist Samantha Howard, and other special guests. Attendance is first come, first served.
