Inside our fourth annual Soho Grand Slam weekender
Our three-day celebration of sport and style, held in partnership with BOSS, brought music, pop-ups – and Andre Agassi – to Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire

But the weekend wasn’t just about what was happening on the courts. There was plenty for those who joined us to watch and cheer on from the sidelines to experience as well – from special meals and curated cocktails to DJ sessions, viewing parties, pop-ups, giveaways, and more. Not to mention the chance for members and guests to get up close and personal with some special guests, including former world number-one tennis player, Andre Agassi.

Things kicked off on Friday evening with a one-off courtside dining experience, courtesy of our Japanese izakaya-style restaurant, Pen Yen, accompanied by curated drinks, including the BOSS Cooler – a special cocktail featuring gin, St-Germain elderflower liqueur, cucumber, pineapple, and lemon.
The tournament began at 10am each day, with our hosts – presenter, DJ, and content creator Harriet Rose and sports broadcaster Sam Ashoo – offering everything from tips and predictions to interviews with the competitors throughout. Each participant received a special Soho Grand Slam tote bag, filled with all they needed to get started, including exclusive merchandise, a cap, bottle, and socks. On Saturday, BOSS brand ambassador and German professional tennis player Noma Noha Akugue was also on hand with commentary on that day’s semi-finals. She then sat down with Rose to share her own insights in a Q&A that touched on her most recent singles win at the Wiesbaden Tennis Open. Her advice to players? ‘Have fun and enjoy yourselves. I try to practice this myself during challenging moments on the court.’

Akugue wasn’t the only tennis expert present that day. Over on the Lazy Lawn, members were treated to a special In Conversation with tennis legend Andre Agassi. Led by Jessica Schiffer, founder and editor of media platform Hard Court, the eight-time Grand Slam winner and Olympic gold medallist offered insights into the pressures of playing the circuit at the highest level – and the inevitable gear change required to step back from a 20-year professional playing career. He also reflected on the evolution of fashion in tennis and the sport’s broader influence on culture beyond the court. Discussing the role of personal style in the game, Agassi noted how fashion gives players an opportunity to express their individuality – even at Wimbledon, where athletes continue to find creative ways to showcase their personalities within the tournament’s traditions.

‘I don’t know if it was necessarily always about the clothes, but my attitude had a bit to do with it as well,’ he said. ‘As soon you come on the scene and talk a good game, when image is everything, you better be willing to back that up – and that’s a little hard when you’re 18 years old. It took a few years for people to accept me for who I was. There were some challenging years, but I’m glad I stuck with it because rebellion made a lot of sense to me, and I leaned into the things I connected to.’
Also at the Lazy Lawn each day were live screenings from SW19 of the men’s and women’s finals of the other big tournament going on that weekend. In between all this action our House DJs kept the energy high with sets on the lawn and courtside, culminating in a special headline set on Saturday evening from Mercury Prize-nominated electronic artist Katy B. Members also got to browse BOSS’s athleisurewear collection and event-exclusive Soho Grand Slam merchandise at the pop-up in the gym reception. Over at the Heli Pad, meanwhile, BOSS was offering tethered hot-air balloon rides daily across the weekend. Rising up to 20 metres into the air and with near-cloudless conditions throughout, they gave panoramic views across the Farmhouse grounds.
And, of course, there were plenty of refreshments available all weekend to help guests stay cool, from ice lollies and BOSS Coolers to ice-cold drinks. Our friends at Peroni Nastro Azzurro kept members topped up as they served much-needed beers and their non-alcoholic versions crafted with Sicilian lemon at their pop-up on the Lazy Lawn, as well as from bars across the House’s grounds.

The competition on both our padel and tennis courts led to two gripping finals – and two sets of very worthy winners – each day.
All those who took part were awarded a Soho Grand Slam tote bag to commemorate their gameplay, with winners’ prizes handed out on the courts following the completion of each day’s tennis and padel finals.
And it was certainly a prize worth fighting for. Alongside the coveted Soho Grand Slam trophy, and a bag from BOSS, the winners of both the men’s and women’s doubles’ tournaments for padel and tennis were invited to a one-day VIP experience at the indoor men’s tennis tournament of the Laver Cup, courtesy of BOSS – the tournament’s Official Formal Wear Partner – which takes place at The O2 in London in September.
A special thanks to all who took part and congratulations to our Soho Grand Slam winners for 2026:
