Fashion week is in full swing across the city. On Tuesday, womenswear designer, Marrisa Wilson, celebrates the debut of her runway collection at DUMBO House. 5. Blackstage: NYFW wrap party featuring Ian Isiah on Tuesday
On Tuesday night, attend the NYFW afterparty to celebrate Black creatives in the fashion industry. 6. Explicit Content: Conway the Machine on Wednesday
On Wednesday, make your way to Soho House New York’s Vinyl Room for the first of Membership Manager Mathieu Dunoyer’s listening party series, Explicit Content. Hosted in partnership with D’USSE, American rapper, Conway the Machine, will celebrate his birthday with an intimate listening session around his newest album, God Don’t Make Mistakes. The party starts at 9pm and keeps going until 1am.

8. Sound Sessions: Max Glazer on Thursday
Make your way to Brooklyn to see Max Glazer perform at DUMBO House. The cofounder of New York City’s Federation Sound has produced for Vybz Kartel and a host of reggae superstars. As a DJ, Glazer has toured the world with Rihanna, Cham, Sean Paul and more, performing on some of the world’s most legendary stages. In other words, prepare to hit the dance floor.

9. Fashion, design, and dialogue: House of Aama
On Saturday, enjoy a conversation with House of Aama, led by CFDA producer, Christina Madry. After presenting with Victor Glemaud, House of Aama highlights its heritage collection, ‘Bloodroot’, which was featured on the last season of Insecure. Stick around for a discussion with cofounders, Rebecca Henry and Akua Shabaka, on the creative direction and archival analysis that helped form their SS22 collection.
