Here’s a fun fact for those of you who are staring into the professional abyss and need some cheering up: Lesli (Karavil) launched her acting and comedy career when she was in her forties (you’re welcome).
In this House Comedy session, the stand-up is back with her latest show, Do I Still Have Hope?, about her time living in San Francisco, New York, and Barcelona. She also dives into questions about the future, new inventions in technology, and her experiences in the post-COVID-19 era.

8. International Women’s Day market at Soho House Berlin on Sunday
After a challenging couple of years for small businesses, it’s never been more important to shop local and independent. With that in mind, Soho House Berlin has teamed up with artist, Auguste Vintage founder, and head of archive at Voo Store Berlin, Marie Wez, to curate a special market for International Women’s Day. Browse and shop from a range of products and support female-owned businesses while you do it.

9. Key Pillars: Clifford Prince King at Soho House Amsterdam on Sunday
Our new event series, Key Pillars, is hosted by writer, editor, curator, visual critic, and performance artist, Jacquill G Basdew. In this first edition, Basdew talks to Clifford Prince King, an artist who documents his intimate relationships in traditional, everyday settings as a queer Black man.
Reserve your place here.
10. The Female Gaze by Iris Brey in Paris on Tuesday evening
As we celebrate International Women’s Day, we welcome Franco-American film and TV series critic, Iris Brey, who specialises in questions of feminism and gender, and recently published The Female Gaze.
