From crafting workshops to a dance class with two Strictly stars, here’s what’s on to keep the little ones busy over the break

If you’re looking for ways to keep your children entertained over the upcoming February half term, we have you covered. From art clubs to yoga classes, there are plenty of activities across our UK Houses to ensure your little ones are busy and active. 
 
What’s more, if you have plans to travel, members who book a stay of three nights or more at our Houses around the world before Sunday 5 April can select the ‘Stay longer’ rate and enjoy a 33% saving of – meaning you can escape for a whole weekend and get an extra night on us.

Kids’ yoga
Hosted by Differently Wellbeing and taught by founder Emily Harding, this 45-minute session features mindfulness and breathing games using chopsticks, pompoms, pebbles, and cards. Open to children from ages seven to 12. Kids aged four to six are welcome, but they need to be accompanied by an adult.
 
We’ll be hosting two sessions at White City House:

Kids’ sewing workshop
Creativity and crafting come together in this fun, hands-on session where children will learn the basics of sewing while making their own heart-shaped cushion to take home.
 
With step-by-step guidance, they can master the art of cutting fabric, practising simple hand-stitching techniques and filling their cushion with soft, fluffy stuffing, all while learning new skills in a relaxed, playful setting.

Kids’ dance class with Janette Manrara and Aljaž Škorjanec
The stars of Strictly Come Dancing will lead a fun, high-energy kids’ dance class filled with movement and music. Perfect for young dancers aged six to 12 of all levels, this playful session will build their confidence, coordination, and creativity.

Kids’ acting workshop with Juliet Oldfield
Step into a world of fun in this acting workshop led by established actor Juliet Oldfield. The session will blend acting, dancing, singing and creative play, while children explore their imagination, build confidence and have fun.

Rhythms from around the world: dance class
Join us for a dance workshop with Syreeta Stracey, and enjoy music and movement spanning Latino, Caribbean, Afrobeats, and more. This event is for children aged nine and above, who must be accompanied by an adult throughout the class.

Craft workshop: design your own T-shirt with Lizzie King
Come and get creative with artist Lizzie King and design your very own T-shirt using Posca pens. Once ironed, the bright and bold designs are permanent and washable, so your little ones can wear their creations with pride. This event is for children aged four and above, who must be accompanied by an adult throughout the workshop.

Kids’ yoga club
Join us in the Shoreditch House Library for kids’ yoga hosted by Differently Wellbeing and taught by instructor Amy Faulkner. Craft workshop: print your own tote bag with Lizzie King
Artist Lizzie King will also be hosting a DIY workshop to print your own tote bag. First, your little ones will draw a colourful design onto polystyrene tiles, before using water-based ink and rollers to print their pattern onto a 100% cotton tote bag. This event is for children aged seven and above, who must be accompanied by an adult throughout the workshop.

Kids’ musical theatre masterclass: under 10s
This exciting, high-energy session gives young performers the chance to sing, move, and perform like real stage stars. Led by experienced industry professionals, this masterclass explores singing, acting, and basic choreography using songs and scenes from popular West End musicals. 
 
We’ll be hosting two sessions for different age groups at Soho Farmhouse:
Under 10s

Babington House
 
Kids’ musical theatre singing masterclass
Join us for a musical theatre singing masterclass in the screening room, where young performers get the chance to learn from industry professionals and experience what it’s really like to sing for the stage. Suitable for ages six and over, this fun and inspiring session focuses on vocal technique, confidence, performance skills, and storytelling through song – all using much-loved numbers from the West End.
