Two-time Grammy Award winner Melanie Fiona joins for a set in Luckman. Known for her soulful voice and witty storytelling, Fiona debuted in 2009 with her LP, The Bridge, which was named one of the best R&B albums by The New York Times and included the Grammy-nominated track, ‘It Kills Me’. The MF Life, her 2012 follow-up album, reached no.1 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and earned her a fourth Grammy nomination for the single, ‘Wrong Side Of A Love Song’.

Soho House is proud to welcome 2020 Grammy Nominated artist BJ the Chicago Kid who hosts night two of Grammy Week in the Sitting Room. BJ will take the stage following a performance by up and coming artist bLAck pARty and then continue the celebration late into the night with live DJ sets.

Detroit-raised and LA-based musician Cyn, who is signed to Katie Perry’s Unsub label, joins us at Soho Warehouse to perform songs from her debut EP, Mood Swing.
Wednesday 1/22: NEON16 afterparty
Producer Tainy and music executive Lex Borrero from artist incubator NEON16 take over the Drawing Room and Rooftop in celebration of their 44th Grammy Award nomination. Tainy, who himself has won multiple Grammy Awards, curates the night’s sounds in honor of everything Latin.
Wednesday, 1/22: How Latin music is bring la cultura to the altura
While Latin urban music has recently experienced a surge in popularity, it’s part of a greater narrative that has been developing stateside for years. ‘Latin Explosion’ of the late 1990s and 2000s saw the likes of Ricky Martin, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira and Enrique Iglesias reach the height of the charts with their bilingual albums. So, what makes this decade’s boom different? From the power of the internet push to all-star collabs, we talk to some of the artists, managers and music-industry professionals at the forefront of the current explosion to find out where Latin music is today, what brought it here, and where it’s going. This event will take place in the Drawing Room.
