Ten years of Soho Farmhouse

It’s been a decade since we opened our first Farmhouse in the Oxfordshire countryside. With plenty of new additions, 2026 looks to be an exciting year

Maybe it’s the sweeping countryside views or the cosy cabins to curl up in – there’s something about Soho Farmhouse that invites instant relaxation. Surrounded by 100 acres of Oxfordshire countryside and neighbouring the Cotswolds villages of Chipping Norton and Great Tew, our rural escape has 114 bedrooms, from cabins to shepherd’s huts with views of the fields beyond, and specialises in wellness experiences and activities in the great outdoors. With everything you need to escape the city, Soho Farmhouse is free from cars (apart from our fleet of Porsches and vintage milk floats to whisk members around in), so you can explore the grounds with the bikes and Hunter wellington boots provided.
Enjoy outdoor activities such as clay-pigeon shooting led by an instructor, horse riding, tennis and padel, as well as boating on the lake during the spring and summer months. Try your hand at table tennis or boules in the Farmyard, or head over to the woodland area to find one of Soho Farmhouse’s best-kept secrets: an eight-hole crazy golf course, each featuring unique obstacles for you to navigate. Feeling less adventurous? Our Soho Health Club is home to advanced spa treatments, an indoor-outdoor pool, and sunken hot tubs in the Lazy Lake, complete with mud facials, saunas and ice baths. While you relax, we’ve been busy working on turning 2026 into the best year at the Farm yet. Here’s what we’ve been up to…

What’s next for Soho Farmhouse
Soho Health Club
Our rural escape is home to all things health and wellness. At Soho Health Club, members and guests can relax and recharge with a Lazy Lake experience, enhance their recovery with contrast therapies, unwind with curated spa treatments, and enjoy a growing list of expert residencies from the likes of FaceGym and Dimple Amani. And that’s not all.
Soho Health Club is now home to the Lazy Lab: a space dedicated to longevity, where members can try advanced therapies and innovative technologies that are designed to help you to train better, recover faster, and feel more energised. It’s the first of its kind for Soho House, with a new hyperbaric oxygen therapy chamber and a red light therapy bed, along with The Light Salon LED light facials, and IV infusions and Diagnostic Testing by Body Brilliant for more in-depth health insights.
The gym has also undergone an extensive renovation, fitted with new flooring and a variety of hybrid training equipment, including BLK BOX rigs, turf, sleds, kettlebells and weights, plus Concept2 SkiErgs and BikeErgs. There’s also an outdoor rig with space for workouts, while the Boathouse basement has reopened with a steam room, sauna, and changing rooms. The gym, pool, steam rooms, and sauna are all open from 6am to 10pm every day.
If you favour fitness classes, our schedule has been updated to include meditation and breathwork, yoga, barre, HIIT, and strength and conditioning sessions. Plus, House Ride is back in the refreshed studio, with brand-new bikes and even more classes, while members can refuel post-workout at the new smoothie bar.

The Raquet Club
Our two tennis courts are a firm favourite at Soho Farmhouse, so we’ve given them a full refurbishment. Tennis’s younger, cooler cousin, padel – one of the UK’s fastest-growing sports – has also arrived at the Farmhouse, with three new all-weather courts now open. Featuring shorter rackets and a smaller court than tennis, the game is intended to be a social one, with up to four players taking part at once. Join a monthly padel social for both players and spectators to connect, all soundtracked to music from our House DJ.

Teeny Barn and pool
Families are very welcome at Soho Farmhouse, with the Teeny Barn open for our youngest members. Inside, they’ll find a library, an outdoor sand pit, and guinea pigs to care for, plus an adventure playground with a zipline next door. Last year, we added the Teeny Pool – a brand-new dedicated outdoor splash zone and play area especially for children under the age of 15, separate to the main pool. Situated behind the stables, opposite the Hay Barn, the pool is warmer in temperature than the adults’ pool, heated to an ambient 33°C.

A taste of Soho Farmhouse
In the Main Barn, the all-day menu serves everything from Welsh Rarebit to Sunday roasts, while the Hay Barn offers casual bites, such as pizza and pasta. Soho Farmhouse was the first to feature our member restaurant Pen Yen, which opened in 2015 with a Japanese izakaya-style menu. And our Persian pop-up Little Berenjak offers Iranian classics inspired by the original Berenjak in London. For homemade treats, there’s also Blake’s Kitchen Bakery in the Farmyard, and throughout 2026 we’ll be hosting special menus by Michelin-starred chefs in the Glasshouse.
