Meet the winning cocktail in the Soho House Cocktail Cup

Soho House Cocktail Cup

Teams from our Houses around the world competed to create the new star of our drinks menu, in partnership with Patrón and Bacardí

At Soho House, creativity is the driving force behind just about everything we do – whether it's designing our spaces to be the perfect balance of comfort and style, or programming exciting member events throughout our clubs. The same is true of our drinks menu, which we keep fresh with new and seasonal cocktails – alongside classic House favourites too, of course. And ready for the summer months, there’s a new addition in Houses: the Colada Daisy, one of the winning drinks from the Global Cocktail Cup 2025.

For the competition, held in partnership with Patrón tequila and Bacardí, we invited bartenders from our Houses across the globe to craft three special cocktails. Each drink paid homage to the roots of mixology, while celebrating the unique local ingredients, flavours and cultures of the different team’s city. One hundred and fifty competitors representing 50 Soho House locations around the world competed, using spirits from Bacardí’s iconic brands to create their trio of drinks.

Each team was asked to create a Sour and a Collins, as well as a ‘dealer’s choice’ – a drink inspired by any other classic cocktail. These were then presented to our line-up of judges who know their bitters from their botanicals, including Lily Wang, owner of Nine Bar Chicago; Erin Davey, Head Of Bars for Soho House Americas; Cyril Francoise, Head Of Bars for Soho House UK, Europe and Asia; and Lauren Mote, director of advocacy, Patrón tequila. Each trio of creations was judged on taste, presentation, use of teamwork and originality, plus bonus points for how easy it would be to recreate in our clubs.

The competition culminated with the top scoring teams coming together for the Global Cocktail Cup 2025 grand finale at Hacienda Patrón in Jalisco, Mexico. Team members from Soho House Mumbai, Soho House São Paulo, Miami Pool House and Soho Farmhouse presented their creations one more time, while also visiting local agave fields and touring Hacienda Patrón, where all of the brand’s tequila is distilled.

Finally, after much deliberation, the team from Soho Farmhouse, made up of Olivia Cuthbert, Christos Alexandris and Dexter Lee, was announced as the winner of the Global Cocktail Cup 2025 with the Colada Daisy in the Sour category – a sunny weather-ready twist on the Tequila Daisy. Equal parts refreshing and indulgent, it balances Patrón Silver tequila with tepache – a traditional Mexican pineapple kombucha – along with cocoa, lime, and coconut.

The best part? It’s available to order at all of our Houses right now.
