Born in Kazakhstan, educated in the US and Asia, and now based in the Italian capital, model and fashion director Korlan Madi is a walking testimony to global citizenship. Having fronted campaigns for the likes of Fendi, Bulgari and Gattinoni, she also works behind the scenes for luxury womenswear brand Lisa Von Tang, helping steer luxury fashion towards a more sustainable future. Madi’s work aptly represents Rome’s stature as one of the world’s leading fashion capitals, while also speaking to the city’s flourishing creative scene.
