Inside our Wimbledon Pre-Finals Party at White City House

wimbledon party

It was game, set, and match in west London across a night of music, viewing parties, and more – in partnership with The Platinum Card® by American Express*

Friday 10 July 2026       By Soho House

In the week the UK’s favourite tennis tournament drew to a close over at the All England Lawn Tennis Club in SW19, our west London outpost was the place to be as White City House played host to our Wimbledon Pre-Finals Party.

Created in partnership with The Platinum Card® by American Express, Wimbledon’s official payment partner for The Championships, it was a fitting celebration of all things tennis – from the Wimbledon-inspired welcome cocktails to a sweet treat created by celebrated London restaurant, Toklas. Amex Unsigned, which showcases some of the UK’s finest emerging talent, was proud to present a live performance by Abi Flynn (not to mention a special DJ set by Craig David) – along with rooftop DJ sessions, and more. Read on for more about what happened and who was there, including a host of special guests.

A rising star and a legendary DJ set
The tone was set the moment guests arrived and were welcomed into the event with House Favourite, the Picante Green Smash featuring Patrón Reposado tequila, pineapple, lime, basil, and chilli. It was an early nod to the full Wimbledon-inspired cocktail menu, crafted exclusively for the event and available across the House, including the Platinum Berry Spritz (Campari, Prosecco, raspberry and grapefruit, served with edible silver foil) and the alcohol-free Platinum Highball – a blend of Pentire Seaward, lime, mint, and cucumber, topped up with soda.

With lots to see and do, members got to take their pick of entertainment. Studio 8 kicked things off with a live performance by Brighton-based producer and singer Abi Flynn, whose multi-platinum collaborations with artists including Nathan Dawe, Joel Corry, and Tinie Tempah have earned her spots on the UK Top 40 and US Billboard charts. The Amex Unsigned artist is now a rising star in her own right – as those who were there on the night can attest. Flynn’s fusion of jazz, soul and R&B with 1990s hip-hop beats (which earned her Best Dance/Electro Pop Release at the 2026 EDMAs) had the audience on their feet and wanting more.

Which is exactly what the crowd – which included Joe Alwyn, Mike Skinner, Pixie Geldof, Martins Imhangbe, George Barnett, CJ Beckford, and more – got, when none other than garage and R&B star Craig David followed Flynn onto the Studio 8 stage to deliver one of his now legendary TS5 DJ sets.

Viewing parties and pastries
Meanwhile, tennis fans settled in to watch the quarter-finals on large screens located across the House, while enjoying a complimentary special sweet treat courtesy of Amex Platinum, and created for the event by the expert pastry chefs at the celebrated London restaurant and Platinum Dining Partner, Toklas. (The restaurant takes its name from Paris-based US food writer Alice B Toklas and her eponymous 1954 cookbook. Toklas is just one of many restaurants around the world where you can use your Amex Platinum £400 annual dining benefit.)

An homage to Wimbledon’s famous strawberries and cream – of which up to around 200,000 portions are served over the course of the tournament every year – the Toklas Strawberry Brioche featured silky creme patissiere, strawberry jam, and fresh strawberries on a buttery brioche base. This was complemented by the Platinum Rossini cocktail, a combination of Prosecco and strawberry.

Then, when the games were over and the gigs were done, it was up to rooftop where a series of sets by House DJs had guests dancing and celebrating into the early hours.
