Enjoy the world’s biggest football tournament at Soho House

With the world’s biggest football championship kicking off on Thursday 11 June, we’ll be embracing the sport at Soho House this summer, with everything from watch parties and music events to mixers and In Conversations taking place across our global clubs – from the opening game until the final whistle blows on Sunday 19 July.
 
For the first time in its history, this year’s tournament is being hosted across three countries: Mexico, the US and Canada. With clubs in key cities such as Toronto, our Houses are shaping up to be some of the most exciting places to enjoy it. You can also immerse yourself fully in the tournament by booking a stay at our Houses in New York, Miami, LA, and Mexico City (see below).
 
But you don’t have to be living in or visiting one of the host nations to join in the fun. Houses in every country with a national team in the tournament will be showing home games – as well as the quarter finals, semi-finals and final – on big screens, with special food and drink offerings to suit the occasion. Watch parties will include everything from Picante fountains and Beer & Burger combos in the UK and Europe, to a custom menu in the US featuring dishes from the eight countries represented in the quarter-finals, complete with beer buckets and pitchers. 
 
Additional events will also be hosted at select Houses, including kick-off events at Soho House New York, Soho House West Hollywood and Soho Beach House in Miami, featuring music moments and conversations with some of the sport’s biggest names. There will also be full House takeovers on the closing weekend of the tournament at locations including New York and Miami – where the final is taking place – featuring a special menu, a surprise music moment, a themed House Party, and more.  
 
Alternatively, you can host a viewing party of your own to support your home nation or preferred team on a match day of your choice. The Houses offer a range of private spaces for hire, including small rooms suited to gatherings with your closest friends and screening rooms with seating for more than 50 people. Invite guests to join you, and enjoy drinks and food tailored to your requirements.

Also hosting eight games, the SoFi Stadium is around a 30-minute drive from Soho Warehouse, our seven-storey House in Downtown LA, home to the Persian-inspired restaurant, Berenjak, plus a rooftop pool complete with a terrace, a bar, and views of the city.

Estadio Azteca, Mexico City
With the Mexican capital serving as the host city for five matches – including the opening game on Thursday 11 June – Soho House Mexico City, in Colonia Juárez, is the ideal base for embracing a moment of calm by the pool before a match, and for celebrating afterwards with dinner in the Pool House restaurant, followed by drinks in the Tequila Bar.
