Five wellbeing activities to kick-start 2022

Soho Farmhouse

Our Soho Health Club Editor, Tilly Pearman, selects five ways to provide a sense of wellbeing this January. And the good news is, it doesn’t involve detoxing

Arguably, no other month in the calendar year places such expectations on our wellbeing as January. For many, it signals the start of a new health plan: the stocking up of less-than-appealing green juices and the adoption of a daily workout regime that tries to convince you burpees are in fact your new best friend.

The good news? It doesn’t have to be about treadmills and juice cleanses. From personalised crystal mapping to adopting a culture of care with a virtual art gallery, this January is all about finding activities that truly nourish you.

Journey into the present moment
Find your focus and master energy balance in this short, guided meditation led by OPO.

Infrared blanket
Break a sweat without the workout with a Higher Dose infrared sauna blanket treatment at Babington House, offered to all guests staying at the House in January for free.

Reiki crystal mapping
Align your chakras and attune your energy: book a reiki crystal mapping and energy healing session with member Nieve Tierney at Shoreditch House.

Visit Aora virtual gallery
Instil a sense of calm and wellbeing by experiencing the curated meeting of architecture, art and sound at Aora, a virtual gallery cofounded by member Jenn Ellis.

Reconnect with nature at Soho Farmhouse
Take a break from urban living with a stay at Soho Farmhouse. Go for a walk in the nearby countryside, or hop on one of the bikes available to guests for exploring the area. You can also book a horse-riding session at the stables, or accompany a guide for birdwatching in the Cotswolds.
