To help you choose the perfect retreat for that weekend getaway, lunchtime reset or dedicated pamper day, we’ve shortlisted the best spas to visit at our Houses. Featuring everything from sunken bathtubs and sea-view massages, to a chakra-cleansing reiki session or an IV drip, it’s time to hit pause and escape to a world where the music is soft, candles are lit, and rest becomes a true (and necessary) art.
Located in the middle of two beaches (Paradise and Paranga), the bohemian Cowshed spa is the relaxation zone of our Mykonos House. Between the outdoor pool and verdant gardens, you’ll find a private hut that offers bespoke body treatments for individuals or couples. A traditional deep-tissue massage always hits the spot, or perhaps you’ll opt for a CBD massage to dissolve any niggling aches inflicted by your arrival flight. As you lay back, take a moment to admire the views (and sounds) of the healing Aegean Sea.
Soho Farmhouse is a nature lover’s dream. Tucked away in the English countryside (a two-hour drive from London), it takes up 100 acres dedicated to all things Zen. Your hardest choice there (after picking between a Picante or a Paloma) will be deciding where to begin your off-grid experience. For casual day-goers, a dip and a lounge around the Boathouse pool is always a must, but don’t forget a trip to the Cowshed spa. As you enjoy a massage, a facial or a mani and pedi, your next choice will be which bath salts – or seaweed – to fill your private sunken bathtub with at the nearby Lazy Lake (opening this autumn). Finally, a visit to the on-site salon will ensure your hair is well-prepped for that sad but inevitable return to reality.
It’s no secret that Berlin is among Europe’s biggest party hubs, so some time out at the Cowshed spa will be a welcome way to end a weekend spent in the German capital. Grab a green juice and take your pick from the plethora of treatments on offer, before making the most of the sauna, steam room and traditional hammam – complete with basins and a fountain – which allows for extra repose, and a chance to bare all, if you dare.
The former palatial residence and US Embassy makes Soho House Istanbul the quintessential choice for those who favour a little grandiosity with their bespoke facial or reflexology treatment. Located on the ground level of the Glass Building, the spa has five beautiful treatment rooms, four mani-pedi stations, a men’s grooming area and, of course, a traditional Turkish hammam. This really is the place to silence your phone and treat the mind, body and soul to the ultimate detox.
If the hectic nature of city life is taking a toll on you, then a visit to our wellness space in east London’s Shoreditch is the ultimate way to recharge your batteries. Step inside the glass-fronted, open-plan room and treat yourself to a mani, pedi, LED facial, or Koniver IV drip. For an extra reboot, head downstairs for a massage in one of the four private treatment rooms. Alongside all your favourite traditional treatments, you can access a curated edit of leading therapists in ancient-inspired practices such as reiki and acupuncture.
Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Chicago’s Fulton Market District, our North American spa offers a relaxing respite for even the busiest of busybodies. Home to five treatment rooms and seven mani-pedi chairs, it’s the perfect midweek pick-me-up with everything from full body massages and scrubs to facials, waxing and essential nail maintenance on the menu.
