A breakfast choice that doesn't compromise on taste or nutrition, our five seed porridge is a tried and tested favourite at our Houses. Rich in fibre, antioxidants, healthy fats, vitamins and minerals, this recipe is the perfect warming breakfast to get you out of bed and ready for the day. 

Five seed porridge

Serves four

Ingredients
200g porridge oats
50g sunflower seeds
50g pumpkin seeds
25g poppy seeds
25g chia seeds
25g hemp seeds
2 bananas, chopped
800ml oat milk
Maple syrup to taste
Blackberry compote (optional)

Method
1. Mix all of the dry ingredients together.
2 Cook the oats with the oat milk and banana. Loosen with water if needed.
3. Add in the maple syrup and a pinch of salt. To make the porridge really sing, finish with a spoon of blackberry compote.
