Harry Styles’ stylist and friends on what to wear at the Houses this summer

There are few people in the world better positioned to tell us what we should be wearing than those sacred few who style the best-dressed people in the world.
Enter Harry Lambert, stylist to Harry Styles and Emma Corrin; Catherine Hayward, wardrobe mistress to Benedict Cumberbatch, and a whole host of high-fashion tastemakers who are here to reveal the key item they’ll be sporting at the Houses this summer.

1. Nail polish set

‘I can’t live without my Pleasing Hot Holiday polish set. Me and my friends just came back from Santorini and on day one we all painted our nails together. My favourite is “Harry’s chair”, the green. Great to turn heads when having a fashion-off at breakfast with the other hotel guests.’

I read them over two decades ago and I’m revisiting them as part of my holiday entertainment. King Princess’s new album and Beyonce’s new album make up my summer playlist.’

‘I’ve worn my sheepskin Birkenstocks on a couple of shoots recently. They are great to slip off quickly when you need to get onto set to adjust clothing, without leaving my size nine footprints on the pristine floor or faffing with untying shoe laces.’

‘What can’t I live without in the summer? It’s not exactly something you can wear, but my custom-built bike. It’s a “Specialized Langster” with an aluminium frame, carbon forks, miche track wheels and Dirty Harry brakes, which make it super lightweight and fast so I can burn up the Boris bikes at the lights. I even have a padded lady saddle.’
