We’re bringing the spirit of Glastonbury to Babington House

Festival FOMO? Fear not, we’re bringing Glastonbury to Babington House | Soho House

Festival FOMO? Head to Somerset for an extended weekend stay in one of our bell tents and you’ll get all the fun and atmosphere – minus the mud

Monday 22 May   By Soho House

As festival season begins, you may be mentally preparing for some carnal fun, eccentric outfits and a lack of sleep. Alternatively, you missed the boat and have serious FOMO. Either way, we’ve got you covered, because Babington House will be upgrading your experience, whether you’re going to Glastonbury or not.

Available for the end of June, we’ve erected 50 spacious Bell Tents in the grounds of Babington House for a festival-style getaway. Each tent is equipped with a comfy double bed, fluffy robes, and drinks provided by Rock Angel and Peroni for you to enjoy for as long as you stay. You’ll experience the great outdoors feeling and rustic charm of camping, but with all the comfort of our House bedrooms. What’s not to love?

But it’s the atmosphere that you truly don’t want to miss: a spacious dining tent, a barbecue and two bars on the lawn adorned with fairy lights. Plus, there’ll be a large screen showing Glastonbury highlights, so you get the same festival spirit – without the crowds. And if that wasn’t enough, for the Glasto Wind Down we’ll have a line-up of special guests performing on Monday 26 June for some post-festival fun.

Babington House is located near Frome, only 30 minutes away from the Glastonbury site, which means you can easily make your way to the festival – but a stay in the Bell Tents makes for an equally enjoyable alternative.

Bell Tent accommodation is bookable for five nights in a row, ensuring you can fully soak up the atmosphere. There’s also the whole of Babington House to explore: the Grade II-listed manor, 18 acres of English countryside, a lake, a cricket pitch, and tennis courts. Plus, you can enjoy the best of Soho House dining in the Orangery, the indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and the Cowshed spa. And yes, we wish the festival weekend lasted forever, too.

Bell Tent accommodation is available from Thursday 22 to Tuesday 27 June. It can only be booked for the five-night run in total for £2,300 per tent
