Soul II Soul brought the funk to White City House
Our latest instalment of Secret Sounds – in partnership with Patrón – saw the British band bring its signature blend of dance music, reggae and hip-hop to west London

Last week, White City House in London went wild when 1980s dance music pioneers, Soul II Soul, took to the stage. Led by the band’s original founder, legendary DJ and music producer Jazzie B, Soul II Soul started off strong with a performance of the chart-topping hit ‘Back To Life’. Mixing dance music, rare groove, reggae, soul and hip-hop, the band sang songs featured on its iconic debut album, Club Classics Vol. One.
