It was music maniacs only at Soho House Chicago last weekend. As Lollapalooza (the festival headlined by queen Dua Lipa) descended on the city, the House became the premiere afters centre for those in the know.
To kick things off, Wet Leg – the indie rock duo from the Isle of Wight in the UK – surprised members with an intimate performance in the Drawing Room as part of our Secret Sounds programme. Following the duo's hard-to-beat performance, Thursday night popped off with our friends at Interscope, in partnership with Tattooed Chef, curating a line-up of the label’s top talent. Crawlers, Midwxst, Glaive, Alexander23 and Peter Bourne took to the stage with A-list DJs including Zhu and Kygo in the crowd.
On Friday night, Armand de Brignac hosted a special bar serving Champagne to members as La Doña and Tinashe heated up the House with electric performances – dancers and all. At the height of the weekend came a headliner jam session with Mo Beatz and Hank McDaniel. Members danced all night with custom Patrón cocktails in hand. Even Big Sean came out to play.
The weekend closed out on Sunday with the House annual DJ White Shadow Lollapalooza pool party. The sun was shining, Bacardí was flowing, and the night ended with indie legend BANKS hitting the stage. BIG.
